Born to run, Racing in the street, Jungleland, Promised land. It was an emotional roller coaster and was as good as his longest concert I was front row at in Philly in 2016. Something else!
To put this into perspective for you... I was there that day and bear in mind he played promised land...born to run....racing in the street....jungleland.....all of which were best live things I've ever seen...jungleland in particular was just as it was getting dark and people around me were crying with emotion at the end of jungleland....for me though this hit different...never have I ever felt a song hit soo hard..this is THE BEST live performance of a song I have ever seen by anyone by a country mile....untouchable...unrivaled....Best ever.

It's amazing how much effort he puts into every song. Outlaw Pete is hardly the pinnacle of his songwriting career but he's there with every line he sings. This is why he's the best.

Although I'm an enormous fan, I didn't get Outlaw Pete, even with repeated listenings. Then I saw him do it live in Atlanta. Whoa. What a difference. If there is anyone who can take an ordinary song on a record and turn it into a masterpiece live it's Bruce Springsteen. IMO, he's the best live performer since the invention of amplification. And one of the top three or four songwriters. I hope we have him for a good while longer, but when he's gone it'll be a 100 years before there's another Bruce Springsteen, if ever.
I saw The Boss live twice. It’s pure Rock ‘n Roll magic, more than three ours of energizing power. You always get out of of a Springsteen concert with a deeply felt emotional satisfaction.
I was there and loved it and I love watching it over and over. He had lost a big chunk of his voice from doing Glastonbury the night before.....despite that, I have the biggest smile on my watching this show..the intro to the band on working on a dream ...Jonny 99 blows me away..always

This concert has to be one of the top 10 greatest concerts he's ever held. This song was relatively new when he played it here and the crowd knew the lyrics already. Just goes to show how amazing Bruce is. His songs catch on instantly. This song is incredibly well written and in typical Boss fashion, packed with emotion and energy. This man will never get old.

Too many people don't acknowledge the amazing story, as well as the music. Read the lyrics and you'll see what I mean. Like in the chorus. It evolves, Outlaw Pete showing who he is, then the Dan person telling Pete that he has actually done that stuff and cannot I do it. Finally, someone calling for him. The lyrics are genius.
And to think this whole concert just stays at this level all the way through… Incredible, one of my favourite Bruce concerts and this song is one of my all time favourite live performances.

Bruce and the E, STREET BAND are the only ones that you will see that right there. Everyone with their hands up in the air going back and forth to the music. If a thousand other artists recorded this, it would probably be one of their signature songs, but for Bruce it's just album filler that was played on one tour. That speaks volumes.

"Rip off" my left butt cheek. Pop music is derivative and occasionally different artists use the same runs or progressions. Springsteen knows this, as do the members of KISS. Complete non-issue.
Does anyone else hear this song (and I mean this in a good way) as the old west version of Jungleland? Both epics, both similar in length, both have the spoken-word wrap-up just before the end...? One of my favorites! In anyone else's hands this would be a novelty song at best, but with Bruce's conviction, well, let's just say... I'm a believer. A masterpiece!

I saw 4 concerts from the Boss in the 80 the 90 the 00 and now last year in landgraaf and this year a go to nymegen he is already more then 40 years the best liver preformer. For me the most intencive song now is i see you in my dreams. When he sing this i cry the hoke song and have goosboms on my arms
I've seen a lot of concerts, but Springsteen rocked the Amnesty International at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum in '88 until 2am...one of my all time favorite concert experiences.

I saw him here in Oklahoma in February. Only my second time and I hope I get another chance! He was phenomenal!

Pop music is derivative and occasionally different artists use the same runs or progressions. Springsteen knows this, as do the members of KISS. Complete non-issue.

Does anyone else hear this song (and I mean this in a good way) as the old west version of Jungleland? Both epics, both similar in length, both have the spoken-word wrap-up just before the end...? One of my favorites! In anyone else's hands this would be a novelty song at best, but with Bruce's conviction, well, let's just say... I'm a believer. A masterpiece!

I saw 4 concerts from the Boss in the 80 the 90 the 00 and now last year in landgraaf and this year a go to nymegen he is already more then 40 years the best liver preformer. For me the most intencive song now is i see you in my dreams. When he sing this i cry the hoke song and have goosboms on my arms
I've seen a lot of concerts, but Springsteen rocked the Amnesty International at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum in '88 until 2am...one of my all time favorite concert experiences.
