Great hunt, Mark! Proud of you for staying on that elk and sealing the deal with the rifle when you had the opportunity. Nice work on the camera and edit too, Jesse!
Way to get it done! I have no problems with rifles or bows and I don't see either as better than the other except for lethality and effectiveness. Both are great tools for hunting, whatever works best to harvest the elk and provide for a great hunt, as shown in your video.
congratulations Mark , so proud you followed up amd finish your ull regardless of what weapon you used you saved him from suffering and saved the meat , showing respect for the animal God Bless you and your guide ,
Great work with a rifle or bow mark. We all know how hard you work for your passions. Get the next one with a long bow or compound at short yardage and all will be right in the world. Much love from a fellow bow hunter in WA state. - Dane hurn
@@cougarbaitkenyan9252 I'll admit I fast forwarded at times and may have missed the rationale. I'll go back and watch the whole thing. Thanks for the heads up. I've never thought of him as the kind of person who would pass up on meat to get a trophy.

Curious about the autopsy of the archery shot. Where did you hit him with the arrow ?
Great final shot and sick vid!

Respect for sticking with it and doing what it takes to get him down. Do you think your arrow deflected off the brush?
whatever it takes. solid shot too
Epic hunt🤙
fuck ya - way to get it done
Good work. Did you pass on the early ones because they didn't have big enough racks? I didn't take you to be a trophy hunter.
Did u even watch the video? He explains it pretty well.

My apologies! He explained the rationale right at the start. Totally my fault. My faith is Mark Healey is restored.
437 yards is a hard shot
“I don’t shoot a rifle”…apparently you don’t shoot a bow either 🙄
