I have been wondering about those small tires, but your explanation removed the mystery. Now, since I want to buy a trike for exercise I have to wonder how much extra effort they require.
Now, I have another question, HOW MUCH DO THEY COST? I ask, because I couldn't find any ADULT 12-inchers on Amazon, so I susspect that they are more expensive than the more common sizes.
I have a new trike with 26" wheels and wonder if putting smaller wheels on back would make it more stable since i worry about it's high center of gravity and my fear of falling
It may help. But also depends on the setup of the tricycle and the measurements. Also, a lot of the balance is rider dependent. As you get used to riding your trike you'll be able to stay better balanced.
Have watched all the videios on the folding trike...you say it has 16" tires, you say it has 12" tires and those different sizes can be within a sentence or so. The web site lists 16" x 1.25" tires. Yet on the videos you mostly say 12" tires. So WHICH SIZE are the tires???
