I hate the damn Ares bots! I always get locked down and can do NOTHING! I can't afford one, but EVERYONE ELSE can apparently. So I'm now their mortal enemy.
you should buy bots with stealth only few people using ares use the quantum radar. They are likely to use heal or lockdown if you are not into stealth bots you should use long range weapon that can be pretty annoying
I don't blame you, i wish i could afford to be a paying player but even if i had lots of money i still wouldn't as i would feel like I'm getting ripped off because of the prices. I will say i have 1 last stand at level 2 on my level 9 persuar and it reaaly helps sometimes unless I'm going up against fully maxed squads that is.

Loki is only good to those who can afford splurging $100 multiples on grabbing one from stupidly expensive lottery system during anniversary event, and more $100s on accelerating its leveling up. In other words, it is only useful to those same kids whose allowances on parents’ multi million dollar accounts already provided them with the army of mk2 12 Ares I am running into 9 games out of 10. Thank you very much for the useless tip.
afromholt Every Ares I face has QR and even if they don’t, they always lock me down. In the lower leagues, my pursuer destroyed lots of Ares, but now, it can’t even get close.
There are very options to kill Ares, but one is pursuer, because of you have it with 3x Halos, you only active ability and run into ares shield and you kill him

I'm in master league and i removed my inquisitor (taran ember) and add Lancelot, removed my falcon (exodus)with butch and added avengers in it.... Actually it's fun to play old robots .. game is all about fun so try different robots and enjoy❤️

Pradip Lamsal that’s what I do. Keep the current stuff strong to stay in champion, but mix it up with old school stuff occasionally to have fun and keep my skills going. Actually works well often because new p2p players get confused! 🤔

Yeah, he does great videos but commentary goes much farther than good music! I was glad to hear him actually explaining his tactics even though my mk1 lvl 9 BLITZ munches Ares. Just be careful not to get locked down trying rush Ares's shield lol...
Random Palmtop Gaming Dont put your resources into a mercury. Its good but it isnt really much of a meta bot anymore. Build an Ares or white dragon in WS, both are way better than a mercury
I used to be in champion league and ya I find it relatable. Of course there are several ways to counter ares, but when you face those top clan players running ares with lock down weapons and last stand...then it's a different story
I tried speed, it went comically bad. Always locked down on the first hit, and destroyed. It turns out a level 9 lance shield can’t absorb a full salvo from a 12/12 Aries, and that’s all I see. Other bots being introduced made the game tougher, but Aries ruined the game completely. There’s no balance when a single bot can take out 4 opposing bots while barely taking a scratch to the paint.

Honestly the Ares isn't that hard to take out, it's very frail and relies heavily on burst damage to take out opponents, the invader is definitely a prime counter because it can shrug off burst damage even with the Nerf. Another great check to the Ares is the Mercury with lock down ammo. The main thing that makes the Ares so dominant is the last stand, it fits too well with the Ares.

I'll be so glad when they roll out the Anti-lock down passive module. I try to do this type of stuff but almost always get locked down. I've also done this a few times with the Hover and glided down inside his shield or stayed high where he couldn't target me and glided down and started shooting him right after his shield drops. It'll be a lot better though with an anti lock down module.

The speed one only really works if you lock him down inside shield because everyone is running lock-down weapons on the Ares. They lock you down and then walk back so fast you're out of the shield again.
Are you sure? I don't think that. And if you have Orkan, Pinata, Exodus etc. It's hard to hit him because it can fly very fast, I think. Last stand, did you think that? Quantum radar is 6 seconds but Ao Jun can fly about 10 seconds.

I have inquisitor with avenger & taran, mk2 11 stalker with gusts, nemesis with orkans, and carnage with calamity. I’m in emerald 3 and fought in an ffa match with 3 people who had ares. Everyone was in emerald 1 +, one person was in masters 2
if the ares has lock down stealth bots are perfect if the ares has quantum radar then just go into his shield as best you can the lock down and quantum radar are the most common on an ares
@@icywarhammer5003 thats why dash bots are perfect for entering the shield if you distance your dashes id say each dash probably 40-50 meters (i havent tested or anything im just basing off of reasonable numbers if its lower then oh well) but the range of the dash 50-100 meters at least gives you that edge of taking down an ares
maybe the dashes are more idont know the jumps on any bot away equal more than 100 meters aways except for the raven bot that can jump over 300-500 meters (on moon map you can jump from base to almost the center beacon if you use both jumps)
On the other hand the shield of the Lancelot is really bad because it is composed in 3 parts and there is only one that really protects so it is not effective

the falcon is very good against areas. You can just tank the damage (or get in cover if possible) then drop your resistance.

It's not an Argus shield it's a Aegis shield (pronounced age-E-is), it's was Zeus's warshield.

Invader always win against ares. Strider n blitz its 50/50 chance. I use strider n blitz against ares all the times.
Without any of these bots in skirmish i have a carnage when i saw an ares i wait for its build in weapon goes out, once its fown i strike

They can run away from pursuer. They got mostly lock weps, long range and boosts up the ass.
