What even is this performance? I love AS IT IS, and have seen them live a couple of times, as recently as Saturday. Ben and Patty sound great live but here they sounded terrible!
Probably now it translated digitally. You can't really hear the instruments either, so I think that's it. Patty's video of his playlist performance sounded fine
i think pattys vocal are amazing, yes he has a unique voice and its what it makes the band tho they are way too loud here, and the back vocals could be much better
Actually, this makes me cringe so much. Because when I saw them live, they were great and this video doesn't do them justice, because they honestly don't sound good here. wow. it kinda hurts.
Whoever did sound check for this venue must have been deaf. The instruments were almost unnoticeable, and the vocals were overpowering which didn't do any justice for the band at all. Patty's vocals live are weak and whiny, the guitar player's vocals are the only bit of enjoyment you might get. Patty still can't scream as seen in his embarrassing cover of second and sebring, he just looks like a child yelling into a microphone. This whole show was just a flatout mess.

Both Patty and Ben are extremely talented and have great voices I just don't think this performance was all that great and didn't show off their talent that well compared to others. What I'm saying is doing a TH-cam video performance is a lot different than a live one in front of an audience and they just seemed like they struggled with control a little this time around.
