I think Dustin was going through some pain due to the past with that screech powers character. After a while, it looked silly to many and was subject yo harsh criticism. From some of the talks in the past, even when he was in the show, he was somewhat of an outcast, because he was the youngest and didn't have the "appeal" like Mark and Mario did. Not only that, he became a typecast for his role and so - that made it difficult for him to make a break like his co-stars did. It's pretty clear that they didn't care much about him; I think the mounted frustration eventually manifested him to "OK'ing" the book written about them. His behavior was a reaction to one thing and one thing only - rejection. Nonetheless, he was a great actor, I grew up watching him in the 90s and he will be dearly missed. RIP Dustin

I can't believe he hadn't seen all the others from Saved by the Bell since he was 16. That's crazy. Most of the time when people are in a show together, they keep in touch one way or another. Even if they aren't around each that much cause they all have their own lives in different parts of the country, they still keep in touch and know what's going on each ones lives. She's alive going on 25 years.. shes now 55...

Moral of the story You get a lump in your neck you get it checked as soon as you can ...you don't wait over a 1 and 1/2 years to get diagnosed with stage four cancer.... by then anyone would be dead because cancer will spread if you don't get it removed... And example my sister had a lump in her neck she went to the doctor ,,,within a month It was removed and her thyroid ... 25 years later she is still alive... he would definitely be alive if he went right After finding the lump...Stupid mistake and a horrible way to go.. I was with both my parents as they slowly died of cancer it takes weeks and weeks to slowly deteriorate . My mom was the most recent to pass.. Her last words were ""I don't want to go ,I will miss you like crazy" Her diagnosis was like his within a month or 2 she was dead from first being told..nothing would have helped and there was absolutely no warning it was everywhere in her body... One day she felt back pain ,,, the next day she was diagnosed And in a couple days they scanned her whole body and found out that it spread through her whole abdomen , And started going into her lungs... About eight months before this happened to her...She had a near fatal car accident,, She had full body scans them MRIs your name it..There was no cancer.. So yes stress can bring out cancer...

My mom died that fast also ,From first being told.. Rest in peace... hope they find a cure for cancer . All I know is I was with my mom for the 3 weeks Till she took her last breath's ,As I watched her take her last breath .... let's just say it's not a pleasant way to go, You suffer the whole way through everybody around you suffers also... We can only hope we all go fast when we die... Finding the lump And taking care of it right away ,,, would've saved his life...By putting it off it spread everywhere... My mom wasnt so lucky She had a major car accident nine months before being told she had cancer , The car accident was near fatal and put a lot of stress on her body she had full body scans and she had no cancer... Then about nine months later she had back pain so we went in to get scanned and find out she has cancer all throughout her body.. Mainly her gut and A little area in her lungs.. Three weeks later she was dead... rip to eveyone that ever had to suffer through that kind of thing... my dad also died in the same way except I wasn't in the same room when he took his last breath...My mom on the other hand..I sense death was coming that night so I made it my mission to stay up with her... you could tell death was coming,,She was getting weaker,, still incoherent,,Because we kept giving her Oxy.. but you could tell by her skin that her liver and organs were shutting down.. They turn a purple color.. my life is forever changed I suffer from sadness and fear and Loneliness .. rip everyone

This is so sad. His girlfriend was by his side as he died. I remember his initial statement about his health whenever they didn’t know the cause and he was terrified. 💔 May he Rest In Peace.
He had a lump in his neck a 1 and a half years before this diagnosis... He ignored the lump.. Until it was too late... My sister had the same thing .. But she had it removed and her thyroid because it was affecting it 25 years later she is still alive... The lump in your neck ,Is 100% guaranteed to spread to other parts of the body if you don't get it removed.. In his case he waited way too long... Moral of the story if you ever get a lump anywhere on your body and you don't know what it is ,, have a doctor check it he'll send a biopsy in You'll find out in a little time and have it removed if it is cancer... Then you'll probably get a round of chemo shots... To kill any lingering cancer cells.. My sister was fairly lucky that they got everything in one shot and very early.. It still sucks you had to undergo the operation,But it's still better than being dead... After being with both my parents as they slowly died from cancer of a course of a couple months let's just say it's not the way you want to go or wish anybody to go..It's most gruesome and agonizing thing you'll ever witness somebody go through... As they slowly deteriorate and die taking weeks to die.. I was with both my parents every step of the way until their last breath... It's an honor and a curse to actually be there with them my life is forever changed and haunted by what happened the whole time

This is not a shock because unfortunately I have heard this story before (diagnosed and then death a very short time after) but this is particularly terrible because he was so young. So terribly sorry. The one lesson to learn from this story is if something is wrong, go to the doctor!

Dustin was not a smoker, so we don't know what caused him to get cancer. Unfortunately, cancer spread so fast that doctors didn't have time to do a second round of chemotherapy. 44 is such a young age to die.

I can't believe he hadn't seen all the others from Saved by the Bell since he was 16. That's crazy. Most of the time when people are in a show together, they keep in touch one way or another. Even if they aren't around each that much cause they all have their own lives in different parts of the country, they still keep in touch and know what's going on each ones lives. Especially with social media. Nowadays you don't have to be around anyone to talk to them face to face anymore. It's really sad the distance that he had with the others in the show. R.I.P Screech. I hadn’t heard of his diagnosis which is why I was saddened and shocked when I heard yesterday that he had passed away. Sure he had some issues in his life. But what child stars growing up don’t. I’m sure his co-stars from SBTB weren’t exactly perfect. Cancer took my sisters life at 48 yrs young and it sucks! RIP Dustin, you will always known to me as Screech ❤️

Moral of the story You get a lump in your neck you get it checked as soon as you can ...you don't wait over a 1 and 1/2 years to get diagnosed with stage four cancer.... by then anyone would be dead because cancer will spread if you don't get it removed... And example my sister had a lump in her neck she went to the doctor ,,,within a month It was removed and her thyroid ... 25 years later she is still alive... he would definitely be alive if he went right After finding the lump...Stupid mistake and a horrible way to go.. I was with both my parents as they slowly died of cancer it takes weeks and weeks to slowly deteriorate . My mom was the most recent to pass.. Her last words were ""I don't want to go ,I will miss you like crazy" Her diagnosis was like his within a month or 2 she was dead from first being told..nothing would have helped and there was absolutely no warning it was everywhere in her body... One day she felt back pain ,,, the next day she was diagnosed And in a couple days they scanned her whole body and found out that it spread through her whole abdomen , And started going into her lungs... About eight months before this happened to her...She had a near fatal car accident,, She had full body scans them MRIs your name it..There was no cancer.. So yes stress can bring out cancer...
This is so sad and it wasn't just one generation of teens because I'm 16 and I've watched it all the way through at least twice ❤️

All I know is I was with my mom for the 3 weeks Till she took her last breath's ,As I watched her take her last breath .... let's just say it's not a pleasant way to go, You suffer the whole way through everybody around you suffers also... We can only hope we all go fast when we die...
Finding the lump And taking care of it right away ,,, would've saved his life...By putting it off it spread everywhere... My mom wasnt so lucky She had a major car accident nine months before being told she had cancer , The car accident was near fatal and put a lot of stress on her body she had full body scans and she had no cancer... Then about nine months later she had back pain so we went in to get scanned and find out she has cancer all throughout her body.. Mainly her gut and A little area in her lungs.. Three weeks later she was dead... rip to eveyone that ever had to suffer through that kind of thing... my dad also died in the same way except I wasn't in the same room when he took his last breath...My mom on the other hand..I sense death was coming that night so I made it my mission to stay up with her... you could tell death was coming,,She was getting weaker,, still incoherent,,Because we kept giving her Oxy.. but you could tell by her skin that her liver and organs were shutting down.. They turn a purple color.. my life is forever changed I suffer from sadness and fear and Loneliness .. rip everyone

Lung cancer is a scary illness. I’m sad he had to leave his life too early. RIP Dustin, I’m saying prayers for you 🙏🕊
He had a lump in his neck a 1 and a half years before this diagnosis... He ignored the lump.. Until it was too late... My sister had the same thing .. But she had it removed and her thyroid because it was affecting it 25 years later she is still alive... The lump in your neck ,Is 100% guaranteed to spread to other parts of the body if you don't get it removed.. In his case he waited way too long... Moral of the story if you ever get a lump anywhere on your body and you don't know what it is ,, have a doctor check it he'll send a biopsy in You'll find out in a little time and have it removed if it is cancer... Then you'll probably get a round of chemo shots... To kill any lingering cancer cells.. My sister was fairly lucky that they got everything in one shot and very early.. It still sucks you had to undergo the operation,But it's still better than being dead... After being with both my parents as they slowly died from cancer of a course of a couple months let's just say it's not the way you want to go or wish anybody to go..It's most gruesome and agonizing thing you'll ever witness somebody go through... As they slowly deteriorate and die taking weeks to die.. I was with both my parents every step of the way until their last breath... It's an honor and a curse to actually be there with them my life is forever changed and haunted by what happened the whole time

This is not a shock because unfortunately I have heard this story before (diagnosed and then death a very short time after) but this is particularly terrible because he was so young. So terribly sorry. The one lesson to learn from this story is if something is wrong, go to the doctor!

Dustin was not a smoker, so we don't know what caused him to get cancer. Unfortunately, cancer spread so fast that doctors didn't have time to do a second round of chemotherapy. 44 is such a young age to die.
