Thank you for this - in german-speaking area we unfortunatly do not have such high quality videos about this topic - so I may thank you a lot for helping me out with my studies! :)
I'm a bit confused, isn't step at 10:47 called Gauss elimination, and row operations upward Gauss-Jordan elimination (in contrast with back substitution when we just put variables like in school)
Excellent videos man!! I'm curious about your setup, I'm enrolled in an open university, so I need to upload videos resolving exercises. I'm using jupyternotes, but I'd rather do them by hand.
Gaussian elimination just gets a matrix to row echelon form, while Gauss-Jordan is an extension of the procedure to get the matrix all the way to reduced row echelon form.
@@ToTheWolves But the process wasn’t just changed to make something harder. Getting a matrix in reduced row echelon form makes it easier to get the final solution because you don’t have to do back-substitution.

The best video out there, very clear and easy to understand. Thank you
Thanks a lot, glad it helped!
You've eliminated all doubts about solving systems of equations from me!
That's great to hear - thanks for watching and let me know if you ever have any questions!
Everything is clear for me, Thank you very much :)
Glad to help - thanks for watching!
@@WrathofMath looking forward to your next lessons ❤️
Guide to Gauss? More like "Great videos that deserve applause!" 👏
You are simply brilliant, and very clear.
Thank you! 😃

THANK YOU SOO MUCH

Why do we need both gaussian elimination and gauss jordan elimination?....Gauss jordan elimination serves the purpose well!
Bc some man don’t want to be outdone by some other man and so he made it harder
Gaussian elimination just gets a matrix to row echelon form, while Gauss-Jordan is an extension of the procedure to get the matrix all the way to reduced row echelon form.
