These execs sleeping on him man. To me, Jaleel is one of the few people/celebs who I believe would have the ability to capture 90's magic an translate it to a 2020's setting where it would be relevant to today's climate. Similar to the 1st season of Stranger things and its portrayal of the 80's. Someone needs to fund his ideas I would love to write for this man.
Let’s not forget all of the amazing guest stars on Family Matters! I can’t believe how many musical stars from back in the day were in the series like Donna Summers, Freddy Jackson and so many others!!!
I love the energy that Jaleel brings to the table man..I also llve the chemistry between Tim and Jaleel..hope that they pop something of together in the future
Ok I’m going back home and then I’m I’m bored I have no problem I don’t love me you ain’t ain’t gone I’m I’m just saying I’m I’m tired I just want you to you to you to say I am am ok ok bye I don’t wanna answer your I can go live in a few few dollars I just want want want me me know when when you’re going back and you want me you you know know what’s going on and I’m I’m just saying saying you you ain’t nothing wrong you you you want want you don’t we see a a
Love Jaleel. I remember crying because I missed the episode when he turned into Stephan Erkel. I was outside playing and I told my mom to call me in when the show came on and she didn’t. I was 10 yrs old. I told her the other day that I will never forgive her for that. 😂 we didn’t have a VCR to record the episode (I’m old) . I was pissed 😤
I know that hurts , my first time seeing the episode I had to leave to go get food .. But believe I went on the internet and found it later that day 😂💯 Ahhhh the benefits of technology lol
Loved this episode.!!!! First time I’ve really watch anything with Jaleel White after the show so it was definitely refreshing and enjoyable to watch. So thank you 🥰🥰
J need to take his story to TH-cam or IG. The game is different now. Get it out and let he people love it and fall in line. @Tim drop the bug and set that up. The people need this!!
This was my probably my favorite podcast yet! Family Matter was my favorite Sitcomr and I love Jaleel energy on this show plus y’all killed the theme song 😂
Ya that be dope to see someone play Jaleel while he was a teenager . What it’s like to be a star before social media got huge .. With that everybody hates Chris or On my block vibe to it ..
I would definitely watch a "WONDER YEARS" meets "EVERYBODY HATES CHRIS" type of sitcom based on Jaleel Whites experience growing up in the Character " Steve Urkel's shadow. 💯💯
I heard they are doing a reboot of the wonder years but a black version of it but they already have one it happened two decades ago it called everybody hates Chris
Man!!! I love Jaleel it's awesome ya'll have such a dope friendship. Also loved being able to get such inside details on family matters and behind the scenes. Always knew Steve was cool
Another legendary episode 💯 | Love the people around you, and cherish the moments you get to spend with them ¡Peace, love and more life to everyone out there, stay safe! 👊🏿🙏🏿❤️
So happy I found this episode! As a kid, I always wanted to see him in other shows (his guest appearance on "Fresh Prince" is still one of my faves til today). I would watch 20-30 more podcast-type vids like this with him
Awesome. Huge fan of Jaleel. Then again, who isn't lol. Family Matters was forever instilled in all of our brains. Keep those videos rolling. Blessings to all of you from NYC.
@DarkVoid *The Greatest American Hero (Believe It Or Not)* holds a very special place in my heart. I don't know you, but the fact that you even mentioned this composition says everything about you...you are my peoples. And believe it or not (pun intended), it still to this day is the only TV show theme song that I've ever purchased (I bought the 45 as a kid with my allowance). Thanks for taking me back...
I don’t think the product of Steve Urkel transforming Into Stefan was a success only because of basic attire/appearance change, but it was mainly because Jaleel White is phenomenal actor! He made you believe those 2 characters were different; That’s not easy to do.
Good discussion, some pple may have to watch this many times to understand the knowledge that was dropped. I used to watch the Kardashians back in the day. Lamar ass woke up, rolled over and turned on the TV, that fool was traded... I was like huh. Now growing up, you hear players getting traded all the time. This particular episode gave a detailed play by play as to how, when and where all this goes down. Let’s not forget, practice was the very next day, how do you wake up with a outline of your day in your head... One news report, now you play for a new team in a new state dealing with new pple... all this happens with in a 12-24 hr period. It’s the strangest thing ever. No consideration for your family nor time. So ask that one timeless question one-more-gain.... “Whats the price of my life”... what ever your contract is worth.
Moesha did a great job at depicting all races. The Asian kid on that show depicted someone from the bay , I don’t think his race was ever a joke on the show
Omg, when he said Eddie Griffith made up words to Sanford and Son's theme song! How come the only episode I ever watched of that show was that one. "Fred Sanford, Fred Sanford had a son, and a truck..."
Saw this man in a Airport in New York ages ago. He was spotted by another person and he seemed super humble and nice. He didn’t even want to be noticed lol.
The fish he’s talking about it just fried catfish. It’s super yum! Tim...pretty sure you live somewhere in OC...try “favori” they make that dish there super bomb.
Wow this guy is electric! What an episode. I can’t believe tv execs aren’t working with his ideas but that’s just how it is in the industry I guess. He really did drop some knowledge in this one. Def not a name I thought I would see but really loved the episode.
interesting. i had flu like symptoms in february too. initially i thought it was the flu cause covid wasnt a thing yet but yeah i was sick for 7 days too just like sonic was sick for 7 days.i got it from an aunt who worked at a hotel but whats interesting is she was sick for only a couple days when i was sick for 7
YES he did, My girl at that time worked at the studio that it was filmed at in Culver City, I saw it with my own eyes, chicks were lined up at the set.
I remember I would watch his show!! All the time!!! I had to do my homework and study my test ahead of time to just watch the show!! I just love the back in the days. Than now a days. I miss my childhood. Kids now a days would never understand that.
Jaleel white is so dope, child stars growing and staying relevant is such a BOSS MOVE! so funny the two episodes of 'Family Matters' he wrote were my favorites one of my first pair of sneakers as a kid were hand me down grandmama cons and I learnt the NE Hit Me Off choreography from that episode
Facts
True they should give him the opportunity to write and do his own show bring back a Family matters type of tv show
I mean I'd rather have the allure of him being Stephan then let execs ruin a good thing.
Idk why but I could see Jaleel & Kel Mitchell doing something dope maybe it's just the 10 y/o in me lmao they both legends in my book.
100%
A true living legend, didn’t let money and fame destroy his life
"A ten year old swedish chick got a hold of me in gothenburg sweden one summer. lit me up and giggled in between points"
That had to be hard to take lol
This was a breath of fresh air. Never seen someone be so humble, relatable and transparent who just happens to be a legend. Great interview
His story deserves to be told. If Shia Lebouf can get "Honey Boy" Jaleel should have an opportunity to tell his story.
Shia on a whole another level
I definitely thought of Honey Boy
37:34 mark is what yall came here for. Thank me by hitting the thumbs up
You’re official! 🙏🏾👍🏾
Shyt ty 💕

Sees "jaleel white" and clicks! Jaleel is disrespectfully underrated! His comedy skills are insane, especially physical comedy.
This is a great one, and I would definitely watch Jaleel’s show
I would watch that "Everybody Hates Chris" type version of his childhood I think that would be dope
I was thinking the same thing
I was thinking the same thing
Everybody hate chris was the first thing I thought about. Seinfeld is another show with a somewhat similar premise
Me too.
Like what they’ve done with Sheldon from Big Bang Theory. Great Idea!!!!!
This conversation was great! Wish he would’ve talked about being Sonic lol
For real Nikki had me thinking it was brought up from her twitch stream last night 😂
EXACTLY!!!! Like htf do you not talk about sonic
How have I lived this long and never known that. Once you hear it you can't un hear it.
I liked this episode...i would have watched another hour of it
Man the conversations in this podcast were fire!! I love the knowledge that everyone dropped, really helps see the dynamics of the business
Dude was Urkel and Sonic, legend
Love Jaleel. I remember crying because I missed the episode when he turned into Stephan Erkel. I was outside playing and I told my mom to call me in when the show came on and she didn’t. I was 10 yrs old. I told her the other day that I will never forgive her for that. 😂 we didn’t have a VCR to record the episode (I’m old) . I was pissed 😤
I know that hurts , my first time seeing the episode I had to leave to go get food .. But believe I went on the internet and found it later that day 😂💯 Ahhhh the benefits of technology lol
Jaleel White paved the way for a lot of TV actors
Jaleel just take it to Netflix bro!!! was really good seeing you on here
Enjoyed the interaction between everyone! Hope to see more of this blend🥳
I met Jaleel White at Dallas fan days and he is so awesome
Loved this episode.!!!! First time I’ve really watch anything with Jaleel White after the show so it was definitely refreshing and enjoyable to watch. So thank you 🥰🥰
Family Matters was sooo incredible and raised me practically lmao. I watched it everything morning before going to school.
J need to take his story to TH-cam or IG. The game is different now. Get it out and let he people love it and fall in line. @Tim drop the bug and set that up. The people need this!!
True dat
Still waiting for that episode where y’all are laying on a bed with pillows and staring at the ceiling whilst talking
YES PLEASE
This one sent me 😭😭
There's so much behind the scene knowledge of the entertainment business in this video, so cool to learn!
This was my probably my favorite podcast yet! Family Matter was my favorite Sitcomr and I love Jaleel energy on this show plus y’all killed the theme song 😂
Dope episode Guys! Mr. White, we all still a fan man. Thx for all the great episodes
Ya that be dope to see someone play Jaleel while he was a teenager . What it’s like to be a star before social media got huge .. With that everybody hates Chris or On my block vibe to it ..
Brett Gray (Jamal on On My Block) could definitely do it!
Y’all hit them high notes and went in all the wrong directions 😂😂😂 👆🏾👈🏾👇🏾👉🏾🗣

Damn he was dropping so many knowledge it was just so fascinating to see him talk and definitely one of my favorite episode of No Chaser podcast.
Man!!! I love Jaleel it's awesome ya'll have such a dope friendship. Also loved being able to get such inside details on family matters and behind the scenes. Always knew Steve was cool
This was pretty cool. Jaleel should have received so many award for his role as Steve. Soooo underrated!
Another legendary episode 💯 | Love the people around you, and cherish the moments you get to spend with them
¡Peace, love and more life to everyone out there, stay safe! 👊🏿🙏🏿❤️
This was good to watch. Jaleel was dropping straight facts about the industry.
It's funny how when someone says they don't drink, the first thing we think is oh are you in recovery lol
So happy I found this episode! As a kid, I always wanted to see him in other shows (his guest appearance on "Fresh Prince" is still one of my faves til today). I would watch 20-30 more podcast-type vids like this with him
"when I feel bad I just think about all the wonderful clothes I own"-Stefan lol
Just watched this part on Hulu 😭.
This was a really good episode. Jaleel is full of knowledge and I hope you comes back in the future
20:30 I know my name is spell different but it is pronounced (Kwī-shawn) and thanks for asking my question 4 years ago lol!
I’ve always had a crush on Jaleel 😫 aging so fine I swear
I don’t know how I came across this interview but I’m so glad I did. Give Jaleel ALL the things ❤️.
Awesome. Huge fan of Jaleel. Then again, who isn't lol. Family Matters was forever instilled in all of our brains. Keep those videos rolling. Blessings to all of you from NYC.
🦾🦾🦾
My favorite episode of the no chaser podcast
Funny my niece who's 6 loves the 90s sitcoms now especially Family Matters
*Good Times* and *The Jeffersons* had the best theme songs.
How about Miami vice, A-Team and Knight Rider also New York Undercover
I don’t think the product of Steve Urkel transforming Into Stefan was a success only because of basic attire/appearance change, but it was mainly because Jaleel White is phenomenal actor! He made you believe those 2 characters were different; That’s not easy to do.
I used to have a Steve urkel doll with a pull string and he would say all the catch phrases. Took that thing everywhere with me
Facts, the glasses on my Urkel doll fell off back in 93
Favorite show growing up. TGIF Friday lineups was the isssssssssssssh. I remember the 90s with them and watching the shows with my family.
Yes, we want to see a show/biopic of Jaleel White's life. Make that happen please!
Yoooooooo, I love this podcast in general but this guest has me hype!
ErgosProxy samurai champloo ay
"Lit me up and giggled in between her points." 🤣💀🤣💀🤣💀🤣💀
This was an amazing episode ... a lot of gems being dropped damn I was gonna sleep on this episode but I’m glad I didn’t
I just started binging Family Matters on Hulu too lol
Good Times has, definitely the greatest theme song ever
Good discussion, some pple may have to watch this many times to understand the knowledge that was dropped. I used to watch the Kardashians back in the day. This was a great show #child memories indeed . Thank you all .
Look at Jaleel checking Nikki temperature & shooting a light shot during the movie theater convo.
Moesha did a great job at depicting all races. The Asian kid on that show depicted someone from the bay , I don’t think his race was ever a joke on the show

Saw this man in a Airport in New York ages ago. He was spotted by another person and he seemed super humble and nice. He didn’t even want to be noticed lol.
I would love to see a show that was all of Jaleel's stories behind the scenes and his life as Urkel. Maybe even in an Everybody Hates Chris style.
wow.. this was a dope interview. I grew up on family matters. Jaleel is definitely a legend.
The fish he’s talking about it just fried catfish. It’s super yum! Tim...pretty sure you live somewhere in OC...try “favori” they make that dish there super bomb.
Love the energy at the table!!
The same person sang Full House, Family Matters and Step by Step!....
Something tells me the adult who had the jealousy issues was Jill Marie Payton -Mrs. Winslow.
AH+ it was the same thing that happened on good times where I heard the actress who played Florida Evans was hating and being jealous of Jimmie walker
I could listen to Jaleel for hours. Very interesting person
with the greatest respect - Jaleel needs to create his own - he is too skilled to depend on Disney - he is my childhood
One of the best episodes. Everyone jelled well with each other
Wow this guy is electric! What an episode. I can’t believe tv execs aren’t working with his ideas but that’s just how it is in the industry I guess. He really did drop some knowledge in this one. Def not a name I thought I would see but really loved the episode.

YES he did, My girl at that time worked at the studio that it was filmed at in Culver City, I saw it with my own eyes, chicks were lined up at the set.
If you sang along with the theme song, you know what you gotta do.
he was such a great guest, i'm happy he outgrew the showbiz child curse
What a dope ass guest! I loved Family Matters growing up. He NEEDS to make that biopic show!
Amazing Guest ! Jaleel White Funny Intelligent and just amazing vibez. Loving the episodes Tim Rick Nikki keep it up!
Yo, this has been one of my fave episodes. Jaleel brought a mad energy to this. I like it.
I remember I would watch his show!! All the time!!! I had to do my homework and study my test ahead of time to just watch the show!! I just love the back in the days. Than now a days. I miss my childhood. Kids now a days would never understand that.
Jaleels a dope guy .. hes Stephan in real life
Daaamn. This is for the culture. A lot of learning in this one.
What culture?
Isaia Falo meant it has a lot of cultural entertainment. Speaking of sports, clothing, comedy etc
Maybe should rephrase huh lol
@@kevins3872 nope. You explained wonderfully. Lol
That Grandmama basketball episode is one of my favorite episodes of Family Matters! Can't believe he wrote that one. cool!
"There's a ten year old Swedish chick that got a hold of me in Gothenburg Sweden one summer." 🤣🤣🤣💀💀💀
love this podcast! Jaleel is dropping gems !
This was the wholesome content I needed!
COME ON!!! The family matters intro!!! Y’all killed it!! Ooo my childhood. That warmed my heart haha
Jaleel is very intelligent. Dude's well spoken, and seems like he'd be dope to chill with.
this was so enjoyable to watch - time went by so fast ...Jaleel White still got it !
Tim should connect Jaleel with KevOnStage. Their creative genius together could get things done.
That would be dope
Yeaaaa I’m DEFINITELY joining the Patreon! Might have to cop that Extra Value Meal 🍔🍟🥃🥃🥃🥃🥃
One of the best episodes yet, I appreciate the insight.
No way I was just watching the show again and wanted an update on what's going on with the star of the show. Hahahaha
This was awesome and he needs to make that show !
Probably one of my favorite episodes in the podcast. Need a show with Tim and Jaleel eat exotic food. This is a bop!!!
