Your reference to clay sculpting and wool sculpting has helped me visualize this process. I have sculpted in a number of different clays, including doll making with polymer clays, and you gave me an aha moment. Thanks for all your great tutorials. I am eager to get started.
I LOVE how you referred to the wool as being similar to clay! I have sculpted in kiln fired clay for years, and just assumed that felting would be very similar!! A dear friend gave me a replica of my gorgeous mule for Christmas, and I am SO hooked on this beautiful art form! I've looked at literally THOUSANDS of pictures of what can be done with felting! Thank you for sharing your techniques....
Buenas tardes. Me gusta mucho el trabajo con aguja fieltro. No hablo inglés y me encantaría que sus tutoriales tengan subtitulada en español. Felicitaciones por sus trabajos 👍
You are such a good teacher - I really feel I can do this now! I bought a little kit, but I just can't follow written instructions, at least not those I had, and now I am getting it! Thank you again!
Thank you so much. As a newby, watching your tutorials has solved all my problems, large and small. Just seeing the way you handle the wool has been a revelation. I was far too rough and in too much of a hurry! I can't believe you did all this and for free. Thaks a million(again!).
This is very helpful thank you 😊.. interesting what you have said about we tend to over felt.. I had not realize.. Very cool can’t wait to learn more 😀
The shape without a name looks like a wing to me. I did not read all the comments to see if someone else thought of a good name. Terrific videos. Can't wait to start with armatures.
You are incredibly talented and you make it look so easy! Thank you, again, for these wonderful videos! Is it OK if I pin them (with your name & link, obviously) to my Pinterest needle felting board?
Hi Sara...I am new to this..just trying out my Merino wool. Making a bee brooch. Yellow bit was easy..now I'm doing his stripes but the black is dragging into the yellow where I don't want. Even just handling the black is dragging. What do I do with these wispy fly away bits I seem unable to get to felt in without flattening my bee?maybe I should have done the black first..oh well..it's all a learning curve. Thanks Lisa xx
you might consider making yourself a bobbin pillow to try to use for this... it's designed with the concept of sinking tons of needles into it repeatedly.
Hello Sarah, please could you send me in the direction of tutorial 2 as I can't seem to find it.. I can't wait to start on some 3d projects.. especially the foxy fox!

Im getting my first felting kit soon! I might record the process. Do you recommend armatures for beginners?
