If you think it's worth it! The sensor is a slight upgrade with better sensitivity high DPI. The light effects are kinda nice though... as is the Sharkoon Light2 200 we just covered at 62 grams! @@Techspin 8 months too late but I must say it. The sensor is a downgrade. Having owned both, going about 70% as fast as I can on my mouse pad makes it spin out. That had never been an issue on my prodigy. Sadly there's not too much information out there regarding this. Only a subreddit I stumbled across after quite some time of searching. Safe to say I wouldn't have seen it not knowing about the issue no matter how many reviews I'd seen.
I wonder if they changed the sensor? As part of testing we actively try to make the mouse spin out, our sample we tried a lot- super fast and pretty fast movements and flicks. I'm not a CS:GO player but do my CP2077/Borderlands /Mass Effect games so I have a good understanding of what to look for and how to make the issue happen. Hello, I have a question about onboard memory. If I create a macro and save to the mouse, Can I use my macro on another pc without ghub installed ?

I've had a couple of mice doing double clicking or not clicking issues, didn't test first gen, but Omron switches, so they have a long life rating. Always the chance that one switch gives out sooner, especially under heavy use...

Techspin, is the side mouse buttons good for gaming? I've been seeing reviews and they said it's not that good if you use the side buttons when you play, but I like to use side buttons a lot. I already bought and I'm waiting in the mail

any idea how much speed it supports.. my old mouse just wouldn't register flicks or fast movements.. also I read somewhere that it has mercury sensor which is cheaper but very "flagship" like.. can one tell the difference b/w this sensor and classic 3366 sensor.

I'm currently experiencing that double click issue after 3 years of using this mouse. I just bought the G305 (wireless version) but the I think the mouse clicks are much better on the G203, esp on the back and forward buttons. I'm considering returning it for the cheaper G203 lightsync. I think double-click issues will probably still arise in all mice eventually, sadly from what I've researched Logitech hasnt done much to fix it but if a mouse can last 3 yrs that's fine with me.

I saw a reddit post that the sensor was worse than the old g203 prodigy is this true?

The gen1 sensor is the same as the gen2 sensor both have 8000 DPI have the same Mercury sensor - similar PMW3366
It's a brand new sensor design by Logitech.

The g402 , this mouse , corsair harpoon RGB pro and the steelseries rival 110 all costs same in my country which one do u suggest buying ?
Excellent question. The G402 has more buttons, if you're a gamer that's always good. Having used the Rival 100 for over a year we really love that mouse. Corsair mice have a good rep, we haven't tested any yet so online search wil be your friend here. Hmm, depends what you're in the market for. Looks, RGB on the G203 Lightsync. What keyboard brand is on 1:25?
That's a B.Friend GK3 WHITE membrane keyboard. Was gonna review it but not enough subs for the 25~30 hours of work to have promise of views lol. It's a decent enough keyboard, really beautiful. Upon using this my mouse sens suddenly slows down ingame while playing. When I checked my ingame settings, it has not changed. Is it ghub problem? It honestly turned me off playing rainbow six siege.i had to change my sens ingame thus forcing me to adjust. Then games later my sens becomes super sensitive (Higher because I changed it last time) so I changed it back to my usual settings. It goes back and forth. I tried using logitech gaming software coz they said it was a fix but LGS doesn't detect my mouse

When I go to the software it says my mouse isn’t connected even though it’s plugged in and the cursor is moving around. What do I do?

@@Techspin theres a lot of people having this issue,i found out its the microswitch inside that fails. i bought some from aliexpress that are better quality and will solder them in.

I find it weird where my prodigy supports up to 8k dpi despite not having the 3 rgb zone configuration, probably a software update from g hub.

Actually the video is a bit misleading the version one is also 8000 dpi in my settings at least the weight difference is 5kg the version 2 weighs 30kg while the old version is 25kg

g402 vs this ? any thoughts ?
G402 is listed as having 5 side buttons (cool!) and 4000 DPI. It's also shaped more for right-handers, and it's physically a large mouse, longer (136 v 116mm), and wider (72 vs 62mm). I have large hands so larger mice work better for me, the G203 was fine though got a comment that it's too small for 'large' hands lol. Hope this helps a little! Don't forget to subscribe! anybody know how much dpi is in one dpi click
DPI or dots per inch, also called CPI or counts per inch, is the mouse's sensor ability to track this many points in... an inch area. Higher DPI means it tracks more points, and the cursor will move further with less physical movement from your hands. A lot of pro gamers still use a setting of 400-800 DPI evidently. Its best mouse for me to play csgo because when I buyer new g403 , it was very heavy and bad in shape . Now I have to buy this mouse. again and yes g102 /203 has double click issues. Whichever mouse uses omron Chinese switches instead of Japanese, they have those double click issues

is it comfortable in medium, large hands

My lightsync doesn't have onboard memory
..... I searched up online and it says there isn't onboard memory.... I need help 😂
The G102/G203 Lightsync does have onboard memory.... though the issue is with GHub if you're trying to take macros on the go, have a read:

Yeah, before we started doing reviews I also fell into this trap, but generally Logitech cheap mice still last awhile, compared to others, had some large and small name brands fail quite soon after a little heavy usage.

Why is it called g203 when its g102
Same mouse, different numbering for different regions. We've suggested to Logitech for awhile to standardize their product lineup naming scheme to be less confusing for consumers!
Does LGS support this? In my experience, G hub sucks and LGS is better albeit discontinued.

The old g102 does have a 8000 dpi lol the only diffence is weight and the light sync feature

that's false, the 1st gen prodigy also had 8000DPI, logitech limped the sensor on purpose but then made a software update where you can get 8000DPI.
oh and the lightsync has a worse sensor compared to the 1st gen prodigy
The information was correct at the time. The mouse we were comparing it to, at the time, had 6200 DPI or something like that. If they made an update to make it faster for the consumer, that's great! Free performance! No need to be negative man. We didn't test side-by-side with first version, but did against others we have in studio, it has a snappy feel like a Pulsefire Core or Rival 300. @@Techspin Yeah I'm not really sure if it's just a defect, but I have both and the lightsync definetely feels worse, I've heard some issues from other users too
maybe the first batch you got still has the mercury sensor in it or something?
kinda scummy for logitech to do this tho, this is just as scummy as when nvdia released the GTX1060 3gb and advertisinig it like it's no different than thee 6gb versioin when it has worse performance...

Shit quality of the mouse. Dpi button is making an irritating springy sound.
Try exchanging it. You can hear in our vid our sample, so you can judge for yourself if you got a bad unit or maybe you just don't like the sound.
