@@poorchris sad but true, tmac was my guy I used to argue if him and Kobe switch positions he would have 3 rings, but if we keeping it real and understand they only added 25 more players because the other 50 are cemented no matter what, then you can see why tMac is not on there

I disagree. Pre injury he was in the league for about nine years and never made it out the first round of playoffs. So to say he would’ve been a top 10 player all time if he never got injured is a stretch lol

T-Mac seems like a really intelligent guy. He's quickly becoming one of the guests I most want to hear talk about basketball. It feels like he adds so much to the conversation.
Him & Kobe were very close. Makes sense that they would both be intelligent people if you know about Kobe's intelligence.
A prime healthy Tracy McGrady was as good as anyone. He could light it up. I had the pleasure of seeing him in person when he was with Orlando and they played the Memphis Grizzlies in Memphis.
Amen. Kobe (RIP) stated that Tmac could do everything he could, but he was taller...and that Tmac was the hardest player he ever had to guard.
Mac, when healthy, had no weakness on offense. Straight buckets on any spot on the floor. Mans averaged 32 during a half court, zone defense era with no help. He doesn't get enough credit for how good he was.

This was my childhood growing up. Just gives me that blissful 00s era.
Didn't get his ring but you ask any kid that grew up watching the NBA in the late 90s through the 2000s you better know T-Mac is ALWAYS on the list of players that inspired and that shaped that era of the game of basketball. For me after MJ and Kobe BECAUSE of the impact he had on me to want to play ball and be mesmerized whenever he played... T-Mac is my GOAT. STRAIGHT UP!

Just an unbelievable talent. Tmac was silky smooth, just made everything look so easy. Always had that finesse in his game.

T-Mac always been my fav player. Rocked every variation of his shoe growing up. The black or white T-Mac 3's with the blue lines were my SHIT. Even had the T-mac 4's with the little thing in the back that you can pull down and tighten the inside of the shoe! Got a signed T-Mac game worn Orlando jersey hanging on the wall behind me! I was so stoked whet Detroit Pistons got him even though he was older and had a few rough seasons before he got to Detroit. Just seeing him in my home teams jersey was so cool, even if it was just for one season. Love T-Mac!

I knew Mac was taller than 6'8". I noticed that when he was standing next to Shaq, there wasn't that much of a difference. Same with his (and my) idol Penny Hardaway. He was listed at 6'7", but he was more like 6'8"-6'9".

It was 19 yrs ago now 2004 Orlando Magic were at the Los Angeles Lakers. Tracy McGrady was lighting the Lakers up halftime Tracy 21 pts,Kobe Bryant 1 pt,then in second half Kobe got hot himself ,stood up to TMAC,Kobe finished 38 pts,Tracy 37 pts. Kobe was one of the few who could match TMAC in scoring,a year older better defender.
🦟🤔 T-Mac played for the Minor League Baseball team here in Texas called the Sugarland Mosquitos. A suburb of Houston down Hwy 6. 🙂

Wasted dribbling = wrong shot = ugly game. In the early 00s they had fundamentals , Tmac wasnt fading away on every shot, Pierce wasnt stepping back all the time, they used to call Kobe a ball hog but he wasnt dribbling the ball for 15 secs to get to his spot. VC you see the dunks but also had a simplified game when needed.
