I forgot how much of an A-list cast they had for Toy Story. They used a lot of big names in Hollywood. Tim Allen, Don Rickles, Wallace Shawn, Tom Hanks, Jim Varney, and even R. Lee Ermey. Impressive line up for Pixar's first movie.

I love the fact that out of all the clips shown, his take is the exact one from the movie. Yeah, there's a line in the middle that got taken out, but I've seen the film more than enough times to recognise that exact intonation.
One of my favourite parts of this video is the bit with Tom Hanks and Tim Allen playing off each other. It's always great when they can get multiple voice actors in the same room at the same time.

I saw the 2nd 1 when I was 2 years old, and I stood up in front of the Theater and memorizing every line that they said. It is my #1 movie.

I didn't know that the late Jim Varney owned a dog named Maggie. Did you? He got the Southern hound dog quality from his own pet before it was their time to die as the inspiration for doing the voice of Slinky. The voice actors are so funny even though it's so sad that Jim Varney and Don Rickles both died separately. Let's not forget that Estelle Harris, Betty White and R. Lee Ermey also died previously. They'll be missed forever. 😭

Ironically, the guy who replaced Jim Varney/Ernest/Slinky after he died for the slinky voice was Tim's hardware store guy on Home Improvement, he was also Shawn hunters dad on voy meets world and Shawn was on a Halloween episode of home improvement and Corey Matthews mom was Jill's friend who made fun of Tim. Alot of actors/actresses appeared on both shows.
