I have the Flex Cessna 170 and the Avios Grand Tundra, both with the Aura 8. I have flown these aircraft in 35 mph (blow your hat off) crosswinds doing touch and goes. I actually had one of the more experienced pilots walk out and ask me "How are you doing that?" That is how well the Aura 8 works in these planes. It really does give you more days that you CAN fly than you could without the Aura 8 and does so without the pilot really being aware of what is actually happening up there.
Hi Mike, I have had my Flex RV-8 up for six flights so far. When I tried engaging my flaps at 3/4 throttle the plane pitched up dramatically. (Had to disengage them in order to go back to level flight) It lands and takes off perfect without the flaps. When I tried to pull up from a descent and pull down from a climb there was a serious delay in reaction to my controls. (fighting me all the way) I am plugged into the Aura flight control system. I have not used the high rate flight mode yet.( which is set for full out on all the controls) There are two different settings. Should I unplug the Aura and plug directly into my AR8010T 8 Channel Receiver in order to prevent the delayed reaction? Using a DX8 Transmitter. Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks, M

Nice job Mike!
What battery did you use in this video?
is that how the pilot comes?
No , it is plain white foam . Easy to paint with model masters paints .

Have you figured that out yet or is the plane still sluggish coming out of dives?
