I used Red Head steering for my rebuild. Amazing customer service and zero issues.

I built my 4x4x2 for my 67 from the junk yard. Works amazing!

I run the 4x4x2 box and its great! You need two boxes to make one. The main box is from a '76 - '79 F150 4x4 and they are getting harder to find. The other box can come from a number of sources easily located at a junkyard.

Is it the same size as a stock power steering box?

@@NashvilleEarlyBronco Its a little longer. The lower lip of the radiator support is tight.
I got a kit from BC Bronco for my install. Extra plate for the frame and bolt hole insert sleeves so not to crush the frame while tightening.
I used a 77 F150 4x4 box and a 2wd inside. That way it turns the right direction.

Yep, just like mentioned its a bit longer and requires an adapter plate or mod to mount. The 4x4 box is the base and then you have to use parts from another box to convert it to turn the right way.

Mine didn't even have power steering. So glad that I took the leap and put in the time and money to install my power steering. Although I am surprised that the power steering would over heat on 33's in a cooler state and nothing too hard core??? I need to install a power steering cooler. Have you had an issue with your power steering over heating?

Hi Jon, quick measurement question. I need to repair my frame rear bed area body mount holes. I have some replacement steel to burn in and I need to know the measurement from the rear of the frame rail to the center of the body mount holes. Can you hook a Bronc Brother up? I've checked all the online diagrams, and none seems to have this measurement. I've tried measuring two Broncos that have the body mounted on the frame by measuring to the center of the bushings however that giving me two different measurements of 5"&1/4" and5"&1/2".
