To become a Bluetooth Low Energy expert, advertising is the first topic a developer should understand. Hung and Haakon will explain the basics of advertising and Advertising Extensions, before taking a deep dive into important parameters, types of advertising, and the advertising data format. Before the QA session at the end, relevant APIs and examples in the nRF Connect SDK will be covered, before we show you how to use the nRF Sniffer for Bluetooth LE to analyze the advertisements.

Why the bytes showing (the first ones) dont match the advertising packet structure?

Hi. We assume you're referring to the CTE and IQ data sent for Direction Finding? The nRF Sniffer does not support Direction Finding, no. But it does support generic advertising extensions as of Bluetooth LE 5.0.

i downloaded the "BLE scanner" on my android phone and it shows so many "mac addresses" and someone said it is people who took the jab. i went to walgreens since they give the jab there and i got over 200 "BLE mac addresses" when no one was in the store by the pharmacy. is it true it is the people who took the jab?

While Bluetooth beacons are getting smaller all the time, we have not yet found the technology to liguify them and include them in vaccines 😉
If you are worried that your vaccinated friends are emitting Bluetooth signals, just take them along on a hike in the woods, far away from any buildings or people. Any BLE MAC addresses you see in the BLE scanner then would have to be from the people around you. Or more likely from the electronics they carry with them 😊

@@NordicSemi i went to the park and they have a 1/3 of a mile track.
i sat at the edge and waiting for people to walk or jog around.
and when the people got near their BLE mac address showed up.
when they went too far it away the mac address went away.
only some people not everyone.

@@masterkey1831 Smartphones, smart watches and various other electronics will advertise Bluetooth signals. If you can prove that a naked person without any electronic devices is advertising Bluetooth signals then you have peaked my interest :)
