Psalms 1:1-6
What is your walk telling God?
If God was walking through the forest and he stopped at your tree of life, what would it show?
Are you a tree that sprouts, healthy leaves, and fruit?
-You have peace in your life.
-You have fast and pray now you ready for the battles that are ahead.
-You have a community of faith like people around you.
-You are standing on the promises of God, and holding him to his word!
Or are you a tree that is malnutrition producing rotten fruit, and withered leaves?
-You’re one comment away from being pushed over the edge.
-Losing sleep and hair, because you’re so stressed and worried about what’s to come on tomorrow.
-I don’t need church or anyone else for that matter, I can do bad all by myself.
-If I bend the Bible to benefit my needs, am I still in the wrong?
-My job, my family, my friends, I ask myself is life worth living, would they notice my absent!
God is giving us everything we need to plant healthy trees. It’s time to stop trying to do it alone. Stop Adjusting the Bible to fit our needs. If God needed our help with HIS 10 Commandments, HE would’ve left a blank page in the Bible!
Stop Leaning on friends and family that’s barely holding on themselves, either they will overwater your roots or let them dry out.
Children of God it time to cry out, tell him what’s making your tree die. Give him the chance to nourish and replenish your roots. Only then you can grow stronger in HIS word, and continue to walk in the desire that HE has for your life.
