Perfect video for me. I’m like you with being stuck between 11.5 and 12.
Had my first pair of spitfires going on almost 3 years now. From the day I bought them they where very comfortable. He is right about it feeling like a slipper. Looking to get another pair. I have worn down the souls so much that they don’t have any tread left on them. Next go round I’m going to do a better job of keeping the leather oiled up.
They do run big
I want to buy hilo shoes from them and what are D medium and EE wide
EE Wide is for wider feet.
I bought D Medium forever not ever realizing I needed EE, it’s a big relief
@@Jeff-sc9qu same thing happened to me. I got my first pair of EE and was amazed at how I’ve been torturing myself
How do you clean them
FOAM LEATHER CLEANER and a horsehair brush massage and then rinse off with luke warm water. Let it dry for a full 24 hours. then a fresh coat of mink oil for protection. wear a few days and then 2nd coat of the mink oil.
Are the hilo the same as hey dudes ?
No. Hey Dudes are over priced and not nearly made as well. When I first looked at some HEY Dudes I was surprisingly not so impressed. The insoles are a joke.
Heydudes are a joke compared to these gems. Tried both of them on today. No comparison. These are simply the most comfortable shoes / boots I’ve ever worn on my feet.
Is there spitfire steel toe
Not with the Spitfire. I suggest composit toe over steel. And I'd look at the Ariat Edge LTE work boot. It is most similar to the Spitfire.
For sure mink oil
Great video
