And no, trans people don't have many rights such as protections from housing and workplace discrimination and rights to healthcare in almost all of the world. Not mentioning that reactionary wings of some governments are actively trying to make our existence illegal.

Aside from the... questionable monetization choices of the game, Wizard101 is genuinely one of my favorite games. Definitely my favorite MMO, and obviously the best wizard game to currently exist.
(Nick Jonas is in a side area only accessible with membership called "grizzleheim" [the vast majority of the game is only accessible with membership] )
But, since I play the game and am level ~85, (max level is 160) I would be happy to show you some of what the game has to offer.

Later this fall they’ll be celebrating their 15th anniversary btw. This is one of the worlds oldest mmorpg games, and it makes up a large portion of my childhood back in its hay day in 2009-2014

I just sumbled on this channel and now i think i have found my favorite youtuber
Several things;
1.Selena Gomez is also in there somewhere at the bottom of a river or some shit
2. Nick Jonas is in grizzleheim conducting some flowers or something you can get there by going through the quests some bear guy gives you in olde town but you can only go there once without membership and I think you have to be lvl 5
3. Death is usually the best second school, because if you're min maxing you want to pick certain spells from schools that you want and only train up to those and death has really good spells later on, storm is also regarded as one of the best base schools because it has the best damage output... So calamity is kind of min maxing the game
Been playing wizard since I was 4 in 2010 and I still play it daily, truly the only wizard game that’s needed

I have been playing wizard101 for asking as the game has been out and watching 101 videos since wizards have been making them and this has to be the most fun video on the game I have seen, great work

You'll have to reach lvl 20 to unlock Grizzlheim (It's Norse but almost everyone is a bear) and have to go through a pay wall to see nick Jonas
The ads for this game did enough to make me interested as a kid. Never enough to play it or watch gameplay of it, but It’s become nostalgic somehow.
Good luck with your play through. Storm can be a brutal school to play as. Also, you should know that there are houses and perm mounts in the Crown Shop that cost Gold. It’s an absurd amount for your level, but future worlds will offer more profitable quests and gear that sells for a lot more money.
I played wizard 101 when it first came out I miss how the headmaster used to look like. He looks weird. 🌝the highest lvl I got to was lvl 19 all because I could never beat the monster in the water

I'm glad I'm not the only one that had this immediate thought upon everything happening with the game that doesn't exist. I was like at this point playing wizard101 is pro trans
If you plan to play this game further, here's some stuff:
- The game hits a paywall quite soon, basically after unicorn way you get 3 questlines in 3 diffirent streets and 2 of them are paid, followed by the rest of the game. Luckilly... Wizard City is free for entirety of febuary, so you can expieriece a bit more than a little turd!
- There are items that can be bought with gold in game. Simply put, when you click on items in the crown shot, some of them have an option to be purchased for gold. That includes mounts. That broom you've got? It can be bought with gold too, along with some horse mounts, big cats mounts and a dragon mount. Unforunately, the broom costs 40k gold and the rest are more expensive, so you wont be able to buy one for a while.
- regarding mounts, there're ways to get rental mounts. Besides the broom, you get a mount in the next world through main quests, also a day. There's also an npc called prospector zeke who sells rental mounts, up to 7 days i believe, which could be a worthy investment, tho i forgor 💀how much they cost, i think they're also world themed. There're also some bossess who drop 1-day mounts if you want to grind.
- Regarding training points, investing them into a full secondary school isn't really a good idea. There are some spells from certain schools that are incredibly useful, but its better to save them up. Unironically, death is a good idea, as it unlocks a very good spell at lvl 26 that buff damage by +70%. Not worth training above it. As for other spells... nah, i wont spoil that hard and besides, its your game to play, not mine.
But god forbid, don't buy anything from crown shop besides mounts! Pets are bad and not worth their price, and gold is the ultimate scam. You'll earn more gold than you need before the third of the game. Mount could be a good investment.
Don't really worry about anything much so far, just keep playing and happy wizarding!
Nick Jonas is in a whole different world called Grizzleheim and Selena Gomez used to be in the game too- this game is way ahead of it's time
