currently learning Arabic in Egypt and have always been intrigued by the Sudanese dialect and a lot of it sounds similar to the Egyptian dialect that’s cool
Very similar to our Arabic that is spoken in Mardin, Turkey. Many of the phrases and words are same to ours. It seems the word "mashee" is commonly being used as "go, going to" in Sudanese Arabic. In our Mesopotamian Arabic the word "mashee" means "walk, step". Allah youhafiz al'iikhwat walakhwatil Sudaniyyah...
Thanks/شكرًا. I've always wanted to learn Sudanese Arabic. My mom's friend is Sudanese/Eritrean from Beni-Amir, and we had miscommunications one time because the dialect i spoke was Middle Eastern, and she and her children spoke Sudanese dialect. I also have nice Sudanese neighbours, and i want to communicate.
