I love every aspect of this trailer. Gives me chills and brings me back to my Homeworld 1 childhood. It somehow feels very nostalgic. I'm just sitting and smiling with tears in my eyes. Damn... I'm in love with space-fighter-combat.
I wish someone would make an MMO just how the expanses is and in this style with phenomenal graphics and visual penetration. And the same way we interact in our ships in Star Citizen

I may have missed a develop, but is that a new OSP hull at 1:05? if so that's cool as hell. I was a little sad OSP was only getting modifications to the CLN and not a new hull originally. Either way looks super cool!
Can't tell, but I'm pretty sure there's going to be at least one new hull. It also makes sense to me that OSP wouldn't be getting a new hull. All their big ships are modified cargo haulers. Why not just fill those haulers with fighters and bombers?
The dev confirmed on the discord that it is indeed the OSP's seventh hull, the Journeyman-class Light Carrier. With the Moorline-class still serving as their Fleet Carrier as mentioned in the previous devlog

Also hype for whatever the hell those rockets/missiles were at 1:43 (Edit: read below text for what they actually are) Edit for above statement, 0:48 shows those as being the housing for a cluster munition. 0:57 also shows effect on target of the cluster munition. Idk how I didn't spot this the first time I watched this. Also doesn't explain why at 1:43 the thrusters are spinning in opposite directions though. 1:15 also seems to show a smaller size railgun? The projectile looks like a single munition rather than the "birdshot" of a Sarissa. That or I'm majorly wrong and blind.
Glide bombs ... unclear *exactly* what their effect on target is but they're unguided/unpropelled fighter-launched munitions that apparently make good finishers.

I think they avoided that sorta design because an airlock that huge would be fairly uneconomical. The multiple small lift elevators make more sense from a realism perspective.

The lead dev said they will return development on a revision of the "strategic level" after carriers. The strategic level refers to a campaign like conquest was supposed to be.

Please change the color of the antennas... still to this day and we got the same antenas from the very beggining.. i know is not as important as gameplay... but im thinking its just chaning the color of the texture ?
i dont know if you know you did it but you perfectly hid from us where the turrets will be on the flat wide liner front, ive been looking all over the one scene that shows it side on but i cant see anything! all i can assume is that its gota be ontop and on the underside, but either way i cant wait to play liners post update im certain they will feel a lot less hard point deficient. using the little craft instead of full bloodhound tugs also just feels much more in universe appropriate. using a big ass block just for one big ass radar is such a waste imo.

Marines and Boarding? Think of them as the opposite of DC teams. Also being able to recover/capture escape pods for score will cut down on the ahem* warcrimes a bit.

A bomb would make sense, considering it looks unpropelled. I'm more confused by those two rings of spinning thrusters though.

I thought a carrier would be a ship with a hanger down the hull's spine with large doors like a few designs in wing commander.

they needed a mechanic that works with OSP too, not just ANS (who would have a ship made specifically to be a carrier). Block based hangers fit both.

It looks like Homeworld 1.5, but in terms of gameplay I definitely recommend it. I hope the lighting, shaders and VFXes will be better in the future.
