@@keganengelke8886bro what? how is there not enough for kids? over half of the rides are kid friendly and Epic has evn been compared to Universals version of Magic Kingdom
@@keganengelke8886 just dont go then? lmao. My point is compared to the current Universal parks this is THEIR version of Magic Kingdom with more family attractions. Literally only Starfall Racers and Frankenstein arent exactly kid friendly.
@@fanta104 Mario is minimum 40 inch height requirement, and Donkey Kong will be more. For the kids under 4 years old, there isn't much to do. At How To Train Your dragon, only the water ride and the show will be toddler-compatible. Plus there are 11 attractions at Epic Universe, compared to over 50 at Magic Kingdom. No, this is not going to be comparable to Magic Kingdom. Epic Universe is for the bigger kids and adults. I'm fine with that. And that's ok!
17:45 - Those screen sections rekt me. I've never had real bad motion sickness before. The worst was like a slight tingling sensation in the back of my head coming off of Star Tours or Smuggler's Run. I got on Forbidden Journey at 8:30PM and felt like I was going to die until 3:30AM. I knew I was screwed when I riding the escalators back to the upper lot to leave the park was making me dizzy and feeling more motion sick. Other than that, I liked the ride too. Don't care for Harry Potter at all, but getting swung around on the arms was a lot of fun lol.
Nice video, subbed. As a kid that grew up watching those old monster movies on pre-cable TV, Darkmoor is the land my inner 10 year old always dreamed they'd build. The rest is spectacular too. I also have a small channel covering ideas for Universal, highlighting how to upgrade the current parks to the new Epic levels.
Went to Universal Studios Orlando last week for the first time. Was great! Saw Dreamworks Land and rode the big roller coasters. Will finally be done with college when Epic Universe opens, so that'd be one hell a graduations present lol
19:45 this shows you how Universal just designs their newer attractions better than Disney. People who prefer Disney IP’s would rather go on the universal attractions simply because they’re better executed. If only Disney leadership realized this.
I’m really excited for all of the rides in epic universe. There’s a lot of family rides, and thats good! Universal is competing with Disney, not cedar fair. Big coasters are epic, but the majority of coasters should be family based.
Great vid. I’m a huge HTTYD fan and looking forward to the wing gliders. But as you said wish it had a bit more variety or surprises. Really wanted a flight of passage ride, I mean who doesn’t want to ride a dragon! Also agree about the werewolf ride. I really was hoping that the sling house would have things that move each time you pass but it looked only static in the fly through. But for me the main one is Stardust, that looks insane. I still think I will favor Velocicoaster, but this looks amazingly fun.
the rides at Epic universal all seem great. I am most excited for Donkey Kong, as those fake jumps are going to be gnarly. That said, I'm afraid this park is not going to replace Magic Kingdom anytime soon. There is a noticeable lack of things to do for the little ones (the 4 and under crowd). I wish they had more rides like the Yoshi or even more little dumbo-like flat rides throughout the park.
I agree with your assessment of the werewolf coaster. They could have gone big and put in a world class extreme spinner. It will still be good, but they definitely missed the potential of this coaster. Starfall racers should be #1. Has the potential to be a top 20 coaster in the US. Have ridden 62 coasters and have never been on a Mack. Glad I only live a little over an hr from the park. Great video liked and subbed.
I wish the curse of the werwolf would spin more to make it more thrilling, and I wish Hiccups wing gliders was like hagrid’s or even more intense, without the spoilers This would equal a path of intensity Donkey Kong Werewolf Wingliders Stardust racers
How do you rank the rides of Epic Universe?

LOL you have a down to earth self deprecating personality that I've not yet seen in the coaster youtube community. Love it, instant sub
i’m so hyped for dark universe

I am actually curious if the limited screens will help “Monsters Unchained” not cause severe motion sickness.
yeah I'm worried about that also I've never actually gone through the forbidden journey without closing my eyes to avoid the motion sickness

Spectacular
The dragon on the harry potter ride was way too close for comfort, I can't imagine what the Frankenstein experiment is going to do to us

Let me rank something I’ve never experienced 🙃
Ranking rides that you haven’t even experienced a single time yet….. yep, gotta love the internet.
Mine art Madness might honestly be my #1. It’s just such a cool and unique idea that I’m really excited to potentially experience.
I one thousand percent agree with you on curse of the werwolf!
Meanwhile Disney World Park Execs are quaking next door

Isle of Berk will have a play area, a stage show and a water cannon fight.
Apparently they’re running 10 carts at a time, doesn’t seem like low capacity to me🤷♂️
Hope the dragon coaster is as good as cheetah hunt. That is actually a really fun coaster

This would equal a path of intensity
Donkey Kong
Werewolf
Wingliders
Stardust racers
Thoosie moment
The record for the flying ride is high and it’s made where I live near the mall of America
And I agree the Hollywood Mario kart was not that great
Stardust is my number 1, then Harry Potter ride, then monsters dark ride then hiccup wind glider, then donkey Kong
Man, Hulk is so rough haha. Instant headache.
I agree with mostly everything except for Curse of the werewolf. For me that’s 9th place
Disney's marketshare is looking bleaker by the minute lol
already? jeez at least let the park open first. you still get a like either way
Yeah I was most antipating an extreme spinner like ride to happiness. Hope the soundtrack is good anyways
Stardust racers is going to be better than Velocicoaster
Not true you can’t beat veloceCoaster!
Literally I can’t imagine any rollercoaster beat velocicoaster. It is so well-themed and the ride experience is so smooth.
Here’s the thing. Velocicoaster has theming, stardust doesn’t. Velocicoaster has a mosasaurus roll, stardust doesn’t.
Heres the thing @@calvinpetty343, Velocicoaster doesn't have the celestial spin
@@Ben-nr2wb True 🤷♂️
We will have to see.
nah Curse of the Werewolf should be higher
