The bombers chewing up the ground, the concerted push by the British tanks and taking out the few Panthers and PzKw IV (lg) of Pz.Regt.22 represents the early success of the offensive. The 88mm Flak gun on the right flank is indicative of the final battle where the British tank units, having driven far past their infantry support, got blasted followed by counterattacking SS armor. If you want to know what really went on, though in a fictitious context, in this assault then read the book 'Warriors for the working day' by Peter Elstob, it combines many of the first hand accounts from regimental histories who took part in this battle as well as throughout the Western European campaign. I know this computer generated video is only a representation but it sadly does not reflect what actually occured on the front lines in real time going by the accounts I've read. It's let down by the Panther having to take 2 shots at point blank to knock out a Sherman via its side armour or the Pak40s not bothering to take out the Cromwell's at decent distances before the Cromwell's were in range of their own 75mm guns. That said it's a well detailed and fun visuals which I only wish I'd had back in the day, with us it was table top wargaming in the 90s.
