Trimmer by StrojCAD

The trimmer is used to cut off the ends of lumber. It is necessary to align the lumber, when stacking, to the required length. The trimmer has 4 modules with chain conveyors and in the lower part of the structure a belt conveyor for the removal of cuttings. The two outermost modules are equipped with saw motors with saw blades. After being ejected from the belt conveyor, the lumber passes along the chain tracks and is pushed into the cut by the drivers. The trimmer has upper covers that press down on the board being cut with their own weight. At the same time, they fulfill the function of a protective cover. The position of the end modules with saw blades can be automatically adjusted to discrete positions that are determined by the length of the shortened lumber and are chosen by the operator. Lumber of exact length, after cutting off the ends, proceeds on chains for further sorting.
