As a diesel mechanic, there are a lot of small details that are absent in the game that are on every the real deal. For example, when setting or releasing the parking brake there should be a sound effect, pressure build up to disengage and a pssht for application, the 745c shouldnt have suspension damage because it has no susension and the direction should be rigid because because of hydraulic oil does not compress, air purge intervals are too short etc... btw irl Pacific trucks were made in canada

Why did you put a picture of a modded H2 for comparison? The in-game H2 looks more real than that fancy rim shiny chrome monstrosity :P Also, you were comparing the in game P12 with a real P16.
I think it means the vehicles that you can only get in the U.S. part of the map. The Royal BM17 was on the list too, even though it's from a different continent.
There's actually Chevy K1500s and Kodiak C70s that look just like the ones in the game, it's just the reality pics are a couple years off. The K1500 (K1500 is 4x4, C1500 is not) in the game is like a 1988-89, and the C70 is from the 80s. The reality pic is one generation too old I believe.
While I'm sure this list is simply just meant to showcase all the North American/Domestic vehicles, I'm gonna be that guy and point out that the Pacific P12 and P16 are Canadian trucks and not American.
I have actually been in and driven in a Kodiak c70 ( except it was a GMC 7000 and it was closer to the one in the picture, wheel base and design wise.) and I was impressed about how accurate the interior was. Only thing that was missing is the windshield wipers need to turn on when you hit a bump and the dash rattles because you had a moron install it.
I know this is an old video, but I’m just going to throw this up because I wish I had known beforehand. Downloading season 10 will disable your Logitech steering wheel for the entire game. Personally, I’d prefer to replay old maps with my steering wheel than play a million new maps with a joystick. I’ve turned the entire game into an unplayable pile with the season 10 download. Super cool to pay $ 7.00 to ruin a decent game. Sigh.
The Navistar Civilized version is called a 9200i international eagle 1999-2004 I know this because my pap who I live with owns that same model and it has the same look and even interior

Its so cool because Im American. I have seen some of these on the road. (I havent seen to many flat front semi trucks. I think America quit making those because they are not very efficant in fuel wise.)
The reason you don't see a lot of cab-over (flat face) styled trucks in the US is because there isn't an overall length limit like what European and Asian countries have. Those regions have limits on how long the truck and trailer can be, so to maximize payload space, the truck is shortened as much as possible.

its most likely just me as it looks like on both ural and Scammell for in-game versions they used pieces of the scania trucks for styling bits and put on the voron D and royal, with reminds me would be neat to get some european trucks maybe a region in the near future

Kodiak C70 is still one of my favs. Although the picture shown in the video for the real life variant was the GMC but those were more common so it’s understandable. It’s incredibly difficult to find a Chevrolet Kodiak C70 as depicted in the game w/ the 270ish wheelbase; they were usually short chassis trucks. I just love that the interior was the same as the Suburbans from the era. That classic box design from GM will always be a favorite of mine.
There was one with a horsebox body that sat at the shop I work at for almost s year. One day a tow truck came in and off it went. Hopefully it survived the cutting torch and lived on. Would have liked to made an offer on it to turn it into a camper The square hoods aren't super common but even as bland and bad as they look, I linda like it. Those long frame two axle chassis I see somewhat regularly as privately owned rollbacks hauling cars or small equipment like skid loaders
Yeah I have always been interested in seeing it up close since I was younger because I always walk past it but it’s like behind an old store and people still use it but they don’t drive it they just store food in it until they put the food on the shelf but yeah I always keep saying “why would they just abandon a such a legendary truck”.

Sometimes it's not easy to find at least not a bad picture of a car without people, watermarks, etc, and at the right angle.
I think it's more worrying that there *isn't* any pics of a non-modded H2

In game, the Pacific trucks bounce a lot. Real Pacific trucks rarely bounce. They are sprung solid. Never seen one all wheel ..
