Dude your videos are so great. I'm currently developing a singleplayer FPS and OH GOD that's hard (to me), cuz the tutorials or game dev vids I've watched never talks about a 'game feel', so ur video is really helpful to me :D. I notice how your aiming mechanism actually interpolates the FOV in sync with the gun's aiming animation. How did you do that? I couldn't get that to work with Animators :(
Thanks for asking, its actually a bad habbit to do it with animators, but heres how i do it: cam.gameObject.GetComponent().fieldOfView = Mathf.Lerp(cam.gameObject.GetComponent().fieldOfView, ( your aim FOV ), ( your aim speed ) * Time.deltaTime); or well thats how i do it for the camera. For the weapon i would have to go into a lot deeper and a lot of explaining, i suggest you check out Welton King and look at his multiplayer videos. He made a really good weapon system.
