Love the 🇦🇱 shirt. Goes with the National Independence Day of November 28th.
US is NOT what it used to be but it has given me the opportunities I could not have in EU.
But Albania, my homeland, is in my thoughts for future move to

The Philippines is an excellent place for the cost if you can take the heat. I’ve been here for a year and basic costs, excluding entertainment, are usually less than $1k. It’s very easy for an American to live here since nearly everyone speaks English.
My favorite place so far is Tblisi, it’s gorgeous but a little more expensive and the language barrier can be tough, same with Bulgaria.
I’m looking forward to Albania next week if only to escape this heat. It actually looks like it’s potentially a good combination of all the countries. No language barrier like the Philippines and the weather and beauty of the Balkans.
Good luck with your move and recovery!

I went to Panama and got the feel for being anywhere besides the US. I have friends there, but I really want to travel a bit. Maybe do the 'slow travel' thing. Stay a month or three in each place until I land in the place that I just can't leave. I have downsized a couple of times. Next to sell my house which is minimally furnished. I do own a small RV that is permanently fixed in a Park... so I will hang on to that until I know for sure I am happy with continual travel.

Curious what you thought of Panama? The pensionto thing is intriguing to me. I was curious what it’s like down there.

An American can stay in Albania on just a tourist visa for a year? That sounds amazing
