Hello my friend, could you help me with a little problem? I'm using VMWare to virtualize the macOS 11.5.2 (For test bench), although i can't download and install the profile. (Intune error). (first step it's ok, the certificate is ok), how can i proceed? Thank you very much.
Hi, I would like to know if configuring MDM (Mobile Device Management) using the process mentioned earlier in a Mac system would restrict the ability to download files from OneDrive and SharePoint?
Are any Microsoft Licenses required to do the step at 4:53, like a F1 License or Microsoft Business Premium, which are needed to configure devices with Windows?
Is this a good solution for adding multiple company devices on one account? Everyone would be logged in as the push cert account created meaning if one person updates password or changes settings on one device, it'll impact all, wouldn't it?
Hi, nice simple video. Is there a reason we couldn't use this in say a lab? For a handful of macs. It seems like a simple way of managing devices without enrolling on say the Apple Business or School programs.
At 0:31 don't know if someone could help where it says Apple MDM Push Certificate, I can't click that link, it says I haven't set MDM authority not sure where to find the setup for that
I have re enrolled Windows 10 device (Abcd123) in intune through gpo. Its visible in intune but got rename name like (abcd123_window_date) and o.s version is 0.0, can please tell why this thing is happening
I was thinking about the same thing... He enrolled the device without setting up an enrollment profile (user or device). Is it possible to enroll a device without having an enrollment profile created in intune?
@@joaonltome it's obvious that a an enrollment profile has already been created. Without enrollment profile it will be impossible to enroll a device in endpoint manager.
this is only for users that have brought their own devices to the company such as contractors ,when the devices are bought by the company the process is very different --you'd need an Apple Business manager account and have those Devices info sent over there by the vendor and from there you can send them to your Intune Tenant .Not as straight forward as windows. As IT technician I can say that I hate MACS but end users love them
Many thanks for this, having used jamf for macs, intune was a bit more complex but thanks to your videos it helped a bunch
I can't any where in Microsoft's Doc mention about push certificate during the enrollment of MacOS until I found your video, many thanks.
Great video Matt! Love how clear and concise you made the enrollment. Thank you and I look forward to more of your videos on Intune. 🙏🙌👍
Thanks for creating a simple video - very complete and well done. Saved me a lot of time figuring it out.
This has saved me as a beginner IT Admin. Thanks a lot!

Consult this documentation for licensing information for Microsoft Intone docs.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/intune/fundamentals/licenses
Thank you for making this series.

If you'd like to use a specific Computername, you need to add a script which takes care of that
I cannot select the apple mdm push certificate option
Very good! Thank you very much.
great video thanks
Hi, I did not see you configure either of user or device profile

@@joaonltome I have tried in Andriod and found the device enrolled as Android device administrator which deprecated now I don't know about IOS
