Beautiful!!!! I love this book, you guys were pretty clean in the beginning of the season, but now you guys are Super Clean. Tenors are on fire!!!!!!!! So are the snares and basses, but those tenors!!!! WooooHOOOO!!!!!
I agree with Rudolfo Garcia these guys are great to watch! I've seen every line bd has put out. this is the best line. Ryan comes up with all the best visuals. He started the stick pointing and watch his goofy legs at the start of caliban. (he is the guy next to Brandon).
The snare tech is actually Nick Arce, who played quads from 2009-2011 and marched snare to fill a hole in 2012. Rudy is the quad tech. Staff member Jared Andrews, who may be in this clip, was a quad player from 2005. Seems like the battery is dominated by quad players!
Definitely. This is some of the most relaxed playing I've ever seen for BD. I feel like there's been a movement that promotes injury free seasons as an essential right for percussionists in DCI this year.
I know nothing about drum lines but these guys look classy
QUALITY video! Thanks for posting!

Love those bass heads.
those bass heads are sick!!!!!!! Genius idea.
A little SCV 1991 love at 12:10. One of my favorite all time lines. And scojo taught there as well.
Ma boi Ryan hittin it at 16:38
That intro caught me off guard 😂
I went to this competition. It was great!
I heard some rim hits in the tenor sections and they got rid of the rims lol
I thought they had custom made rims where they have space cut out between the hitting zones. Did they take that out?
mike hutchison They have cutout rims in the summer, but RCC uses full rims.
Ya.. woah they make mistakes, and also play hard music, woah humans am I right?
mike they do
Ryan 16:10 omg
19:45 I'm drinking lean it help me sleep
Thanks for the comment. I always wondered what they said.
That spot is cool. Very nice reverb impulse... works perfectly with the tuning.
Yo did NOBODY HEAR that awesome part at the end where the BD book was playing with the SCV Forces of Nature opener?!

When did the corps (excluding fhe guard) stop wearing dark shades during warm-ups?? That was part of their mystic and "bad ass" look.
ViperQQ that was just when it was sunny. People haven't been doing that for at least a decade
10:24 damn that hornline
I cant get over it 11:27 - 11:45
5:53 Basses are already sexy and its only warmups
Who is their snare tech, and what year did he march?
Rudy Garcia i believe, not sure when he marched though
He marched quads withThe Blue Devils in 1999 and 2001.
Rudy march quads from 1997-2001

the tenor during the double beat exercise playing the others drum 3
Hahahahaha 16:09 Ryan so childish Lol 😂
why don't they mark time during exercises?
They do sorta lol. They pulse with their right foot to keep in time
Some groups used to do it back in the day as well.

Scojo also said they all know how to mark time just fine, it gets old.
SO SICK
14:32
Dang. I just got played by my dream line
why did they change the drum design from these to a half blue and half red drum design?
its been that way since the beginning of the season. are you new?
ThyWags nope just always see them warm up with the gold drums
Their slips at the beginning of the season were gold. They didn't get the red/blue ones until later.
19:35 that shot broke my face, sad I can't watch the rest of it.
The dab at 17:43, perfection
why they'r so thin?
Their whole ensemble is very top heavy.
EMARPI Production It’s a good thing if your thin, you can hold them.
7:09 why does the truck say cadets
Its actually the colt cadets dbc witch is a feeder program for the colts
The basses are fucking smoking!!!
BITCH, DAB! @17:41
Guy at 4:42 looks like Peta Malark
