Something that always surprises me about USA architecture is that you need to find a stud to hang something. Living in a country where 99.99% of houses are built with solid brick means that if you want to hang something on the wall you just need to decide where to put it... and that's it. Nevertheless, I'm glad no bikes were harmed on the process.
@@LosAngelesTriathlete Not a dumb question at all. Yes, you drill into the brick, and use a plastic stud (in spanish it's called "tarugo" it's now exactly the same though) to properly secure it, and that's it.

This is a very dumb question, BUT if it's solid brick, how do you hang anything!? Do you drill into the brick!?
