Red Potato harvest in Fort Kent Maine

My uncle and I watch farmers in fort kent Maine harvest red potatoes .after they are done picking we can grab the ones they didn't catch. after we get a good-sized bucket we see where they store them .

Potatoes left after the harvester in the UK are called "Harrowings", left for the poor folk. If machines in the UK left good quality tubers like this machine does, there would be an arse kicking, in other words tractor driver would get fired.

Man is it meditative to watch hundreds and thousands pass by . I was told most of them go to be made into French fries further south
