I've walked the Arm many times and have enjoyed your hard work.
There used to be little egrets nesting in Halton basin. I hope they are still there.

It's great to see a lot of these canals being restored. You should be really proud of your endeavours and I wish you well from Australia.

Hi Clive nice to see the progress the trust has made in the yeas since my wife and I was involved ( I work at the work party’s and run the tea ten at the festival) I have some photos and videos.keep up the good work. A little story there was a WRG National meeting so we had a good hundred odd workers a passer bye asking why are there so many people working the ditch only to be told its a canal bed.

You will be pleased to know that you are reaching a far flung audience as I am watching your progress as an expatriate now living in western Canada. Way back I was an active member of both the IWA and the GUCS. I have walked the whole length of the Wendover Arm and even gone to events there by boat. Happy days. Well done achieving as much as you have.

These are the sort of projects the lottery should be funding, giving people employment and opening up the area for tourism

I walked along & around that area in the 1970s. I remember the overgrown section (as 43.00) and the huge mosquitoes that lived & dined on us there.

I have been absolutely fascinated as I have been watching a number of these canal restoration videos. All of this work and expense to restore what had been destroyed not that long ago. It may seem like a waste of time and energy to some, dare I say ignorant people. But as one watches, sees the joy of the people using the canals foe enjoyment, and thinking about all the benefits that come from these efforts, I can only encourage your efforts and hope that more and more people will do all possible to help these efforts for all the canals to be restored.

The amount of wild life you are creating is phenomenal I'm just wondering have you ever reached out to Sir David Attenborough and with the top ranking people he knows including royalty, pop stars like Brian May of Queen! These icons know everybody. You are people with pride and should be supported. You all deserve recognition.

Thank you for the presentation guys. I used to frequently walk along the towpath from the reservoir at Weston Turville to New Mill in Tring in my teens. The canal from Wendover to Green Park in Aston Clinton is quite shallow. Would this involve dredging that part of the canal.
