I understood the signalling part of Ichimoku. from our previous videos and current one. The Waves and Time is confusing me. If you have the time: The I, V, N waves- we are supposed to look for those patterns within the numbers given (i.e.:9,17,26,33 etc) ? Or can I find those patterns in any number of candles and still use the targets? Thank you for your time!
Hard to explain this in writing so I will have to do a live session! The main pattern is the N wave. It is a three-wave formation. It is developed from the first two waves which are the 1 and V waves. Those waves can be an Ichimoku number but might not be an Ichimoku number but one thing is for sure, you need to see the wave pattern to understand the market structure and direction. Find patterns of time such as 17 days with the wave patterns and project those numbers into the future to form other waves at that same number. I made a previous video which shows how to use the time theory easier for now but I will hold a live session to let people ask me questions and also help to understand.
Ichimoku gives no signals. It gives eye view of equilibrium and three other theories provide forecasts together with ichimoku. You decide wether to take umbrella or not. Same way you decide whether to buy or sell, based on forecast.
Thanks for the awesome video. One question: if the preconditions 1 and 2 are met while you are waiting for the break outside of the cloud and the Tenkan crosses the Kijun in the "wrong" way in between, that means number 1 is no longer true when the cloud breakout occurs, is the signal then still valid?
@@cyberspider78910 thank you for your answer. Meanwhile I have two more questions: For the entry of the trade, you have to wait for the candle to complete, right? Is that also true for the exit at the Kijun or does the touch of it lead to an exit? Number 2: what is your experience concerning exits? Is it better to exit at the N, V and E level or wait for the Kijun line to be broken?
Those levels are not fib levels, they are Ichimoku price observation levels derived from how I showed in the video how to find those levels such as the N, V, E, and NT levels and add them to your chart.
I appreciate your help with another question: How do you pull the E,N,V,NT lines from tradingview ? Is it from the tools or you draw the lines manually ?
I put the lines in manually! I have not figured out a tool that works to do this automatically. Now you can use the Fib Extension tool to find the N level but that is the only level you'll find with that tool cause it gives the 1 to 1 ratio which is the N Level. On my site I have a tool that you can use to put the numbers in and get the calculations but it's only listed under the member's area.

If the Kumo breakout has to be 3rd (after TK cross and Chikou cross), do you not take a strong TK cross above the Kumo where the price is already and has been above the Kumo as well?
That would be considered a regular TK Cross trade and normally I don't take those trades because usually when you get a TK Cross, the price is extended and moving further away from Kijun and is probably close to retracing. If the TK Cross happens fairly close to the price then I would consider taking that. You have to determine your risk on all trades especially TK Crossovers just because of the extension. Do you guys and girls ever use any other moving average when you trade stocks to identify if the stock is in a long term trend or not? Let's say the conversion line crosses the base line and the price is above the cloud but the stock price is below the 200 EMA. That could signal that the stock is still in a long term down trend. Do you guys take aspects like that into consideration when you trade?

Hi friend...can you explain to me how is it that when I look at the daily time frame the candles are BELOW the RED ichimoku cloud BUT when I go to the 4 3 2 1 HOUR chart the market is above IT...if you go AGAINST the daily wouldn't that be a LOOSING TRADE...i am looking at the USDJPY right now....i have no idea whether to SHORT or LONG
The smaller time frames move faster so you'll see price above/below the cloud faster on those. Based on the daily time frame it's still in a down trend.
Identify the major trends on the larger timeframes such as the Daily and 4-hour timeframe. And then find a trading opportunity on the smaller timeframes. I highly recommend you watch Trader Kei on TH-cam as well. He studied Ichimoku in and out. Not only how to trade but the whole philosophy behind. Yes the wave, time, and price theories can work without any indicators on the chart cause it is based on the market values and not an indicator value so if you are using other indicators you can still use the wave theory for market structure, the time theory for market timing of possible highs and lows, and the price observation theories for target levels.
In fact, if you draw Fibo levels correctly, many a times you will see how they overlap with the Tenken, Kijun, & cloud levels!!! Ichimoku, has the Fibo levels, built into them, inherently!!!! Try it.
Actually it seems that when I use other Indicators in addition to Ichimoku the process seems almost redundant. I generally only add Bollinger Bands set at 20 with 2 deviation on the 5 minute chart. Anything else just seems...REDUNDANT!
@@j.abdulaziz5645 Learn 1 technique well.. and use ONLY ONE. Adding more & more techniques, only adds confusion. Not clarity. Ichimoku is self sufficient to trade / invest. Trust me on this. The simpler you keep your trading, the better & clearer it becomes. Thats my learning & experience over 5+ years. and MOST important, shut out ALL news, twitter, friends, groups etc... everything. EVERYTHING. Its hard to do so, even i go to my chat groups sometimes, but they only cause more damage to your own analysis and clarity when it comes to trades. they never have, & never will help. be self sufficient in trading.
I would ideally like to use Price Action(Price Levels) and Ichimoku exclusively. I believe that if I properly mark my price zones WITHOUT the Indicators and then add Ichimoku for visual confirmation/confidence, I should do fine. With all the info that Ichimoku provides I should not need much more confirmation.
ichimoku cloud chances each times I cant catch the same clouds on the same time D1 h4 and H1 most of time all different :( and I loose even I see green or red big clouds on the trend
What do you mean, you should only stick to one time frame for it, if you want to watch the 1 hour and then follow the steps for 1 hour, it will work, same as if you just stick to 4hr and watch it or daily. Don't keep changing from timeframe to timeframe for it, a the break out of the cloud will happen at diff times. Look ahead, if the cloud ahead is bearish then the short will always work following the steps for the short, if the cloud ahead is bullish and the candle breakout is above the cloud then the long will always work. - very simple
