You didn't provide any basic info - price, how long it takes to make (apart from the freezing), detail on the quality/consistency of the ice cream, comparison with other similar products and pros/cons (weight/ease of use/noise).

Did you watch the video with the sound off or something? As for the price, it sounds like she got the product at no cost if she did a video review on it. It’s pretty common when you have a TH-cam channel reviewing products. If you’re curious about how much it cost, just go to the website. I have this machine and it is pretty straight forward lol.

    I love how you keep saying it’s creamy but when you try to put the spoon thru the middle so that you can add the cookies all I see is oversized chunks 😂😂😂😂 I guess when I think of creamy ice cream 🍦 my first thought is soft serve. Also like a lot of people have mentioned it seems to only mix the top half not the bottom since I can still see very clearly the chunks of peaches at the very bottom.

      it didn't mix well because it was still too cold. I've seen a lot of youtubers take it right out of the freezer and into the Ninja Creami. If it's too cold you will get a powder or chalky consistency. She should've let it thaw for about 10-20 mins and then run it through the Creami. Since she didn't thaw it out she should've done a re-run or added some liquid and then a re-run and then do the mix in.

    I have an ice cream maker that’s soooooo much cheaper, smaller and I think easier. You whip up the ingredients, pour it into a bowl that you store in your freezer, and in ten minutes the mixer has made ice cream. I originally thought this machine cooled the mixture… wow what a huge footprint for something that’s just a heavy duty churner. Yeah no one needs this machine.

    Can't trust your review when you're not being honest! You comment about how "creamy" the mixture when you make the Oreo ice cream but yet you struggle to add in the cookies bits because the ice cream is NOT AT ALL creamy! You can also clearly see that the machine does not fully mix/blend the sorbet - there are HUGE chunks of fruit in the bottom of the cup and in the cup you are eating from which is clear evidence that the machine did not fully chop up the fruit. Very disappointing and not a very honest review. Thumbs down on your integrity, Missy!

    This machine works incredibly well for my purpose. Premix whatever protein shake you want, freeze 12 hours and hit lite ice cream and it’s done. I’m on a medically supervised liquid diet and it changes the texture of the protein shake to something I can eat with a spoon and its wonderful.

    • @rayver723
      @rayver723 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I’ve tried this trying to make low calorie versions with protein powder, almond milk, frozen berries, sugar free pudding mix etc it take 3 or 4 spins for ice cream texture. Sometimes doesn’t even end up creamy, more like grainy and mushy. Maybe I need to add more sugar substitute or a greek yogurt, milk with more fat but that also increases calories

    • @vixxcelacea2778
      @vixxcelacea2778 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @@rayver723 From what I understand you're supposed to hit "lite icecream" for mixes like that that are low sugar/low fat and otherwise wouldn't have ice cream texture. Then respin to get it more creamy.
      If that's not working, I think the base just might need some quark or greek yoghurt that is lower fat since it's still pretty creamy.
      You can also try adding a teeny bit of xanthan gum to make it creamier, a common add in to bases that otherwise don't have enough fat/sugar.
      I mean, any ice cream under 100 kcal per 100 grams is pretty dang low to begin with. Adding a bit of greek yoghurt or something else probably will only bump it up by maybe 10 more per 100 at best.
      I think there maybe a limit to ice cream texture and wholly un-icecream ingredients, but play around with what you can.

  • @R3troZone
    @R3troZone 3 ปีที่แล้ว +146

    Not an ice cream maker. It's a high powered blender.
    An ice cream maker churns the ice cream base to allow crystal formation slowly so that it doesn't freeze rock solid later.
    This will not do that so anything you make and don't eat, will be a block of ice when you re-freeze it.
    It doesn't even do a good job.
    The cookies and cream mix-ins ended up being pureed into the top so it was almost chocolate ice cream while the bottom of the container had nothing.
    The sorbet you could clearly see whole chunks of peaches that never got blended in.
    This thing is a waste of money. You can buy a really good ice cream maker for less and with a little practice make your own really great ice cream.

    24 hours to make 1 or 2 servings and cleanup......Plus the cost of the unit and the space it takes up on the counter, I think I'll just go buy it..........

    Just me or does that sorbet NOT look mixed and the mix in cookies way too mixed? Also was this sent free? You don’t address if you paid for this if it was sent to you free. My guess: free. Us watchers are wondering.
