I would argue that X6 wasn't as bad since you AT LEAST had the option of Zero or just Ultimate Armor in the beginning or AT LEAST, X had some saving grace. Using PS1 sprites on a SNES game. The PS1 was an aspect ratio of 320x240, the SNES's aspect ratio was 256x224, & considering the Megaman 8 sprites were larger than even the Megaman 7 sprites... & then add the GBA screen crunch on top of that, crushing it down to 240x160.

I greatly enjoyed Mega Man and Bass, and I wound up beating it with both characters on my GBA while I was in highschool. It's not exactly my favorite, mainly because it has that hard mode switch flipped with things coming off-screen like crazy, but I did really, really enjoy it. Took me months to beat King's Fortress though, holy shit, I didn't even think the game was *that* hard until then.
Take note, boys and girls. This is the real flaw behind that whole "games are no fun if they aren't challenging enough" mindset. Games are supposed to be about having fun, not bragging rights. Nobody's saying that challenge isn't fun. But when you primarily focus so much on the challenge factor alone, that you neglect the "fun" part, that essentially ruins the whole point. The people who made this game clearly weren't thinking of that.
I feel like such an IDIOT! For one, I didn't know Megaman was the hard mode. Yet I played the whole thing as him FIRST. WHY IS THIS GAME SO HARD!!!?!??!?!?!!!!!
When I first played this game I played the GBA version as Megaman. Now I'm going back and playing as Bass on the SNES. It is WAY more managable. But still pretty crazy. In like a day I beat Coldman and Burnerman. Now I'm on Pirateman's stage and I literally TORE through the whole thing.
mushroomdude123 yeah playing the gba version with megaman is about 95% impossible, but playing as bass in the SNES version is gonna make it easier but not TOO easier ;P, but I've gotten so good at this game that I can beat it in about 6-7 hours if I speedrun it
1. I played this game on the GBA, where some the screen is not visible, therefore enemies/bottomless pits/spikes can appear out of no where giving you little time to react. 2. I played this after Megaman 8, which already didn't have E-Tanks. Not to mention MM7 only allowed 4 of them at once. 3. I never relied on that heavily in the NES games.
*Sigh*... Mega Man and Bass. Where do I even start with this game? Let me just say that I believe that this was going to be a Bass only spin off game, but somewhere in development, someone suggested the idea of putting Mega Man in there, possibly for market value. I would be fine with this, except that Mega Man got the shitty end of the stick in this game. Playing this game several times like I do with every Mega Man game, I found myself enjoying this game less and less each time I played it, and that's mainly because of how bullshit the level design is in Mega Man's case. With the exception of Dynamo Man and the fight with King, Mega Man *really* has a disadvantage in this game, mainly due to the fact that the level design was not built for him, but rather for Bass. Tengu Man's stage is the prime example of this. Whereas Bass can double jump, aim in multiple directions, and make mincemeat out of Tengu Man, Mega Man has an incredibly hard time in the balloon rooms, the enemies that Mega Man can't shoot until they're at his level can pile up and dogpile him, and Tengu Man can be a major pain in the ass to fight. The only other advantage Mega Man has over Bass is the Charge Shot, which can make bosses go down fairly quickly, but Bass has an upgrade in his shop that allows him to make his shots stronger, so that doesn't matter much in the end. Out of all the stages in this game, Dynamo Man's stage is the only one I would say is the best designed, mainly because the stage isn't bullshit with both characters, and the mini boss as well as Dynamo Man himself outline Mega Man and Bass's strengths and weaknesses (Mega Man has an easier time than Dynamo Man while Bass has an easier time with the mini boss). Every other stage besides Cold Man's and Ground Man's stage can be an absolute hell hole for Mega Man and a cakewalk for Bass, which shows this game's biggest issue: The unbalanced nature. Selecting Mega Man is almost like being punished since this game was not built with him in mind. Speaking of that, I'll briefly go over what I think of Bass in this game: I like playing as him, especially how he's a mix of a Classic and X character with his more agile abilities such as his dash and double jump, but in the end, I prefer to play as Mega Man. Why? Well, it's because Bass can't move and shoot. I know this doesn't sound like a big deal and in the long run, it really isn't a major problem, but I prefer to be able to run and shoot at the same time. But I haven't even gotten to the worst part of this game: King *FUCKING* Stage *2*. I cannot express in words how much I *loathe* this stage. The first part and the King Tank, while not the worst part, can still drag on for a while because of how stubborn the tank is attack. Sometimes, it won't open itself up for an attack. But that's nothing and I mean *NOTHING* compared to what I call the worst boss in Classic Mega Man history: King Plane. As Bass, this boss isn't too bad, in fact, it can be fun. As Mega Man... *sighs.* That fist... that *FUCKING* fist! I swear, if that fist lands on a platform that you were about to land on, you're good as fucked. The blinding attack isn't that big of an issue, and it's at least generous enough to give me life and weapon energy, but that fist just ruins the deal. It becomes purely luck based as Mega Man, and I hate luck based stuff in video games. The worst part is that if, and you most likely will, get a game over on this stage, you have to start *ALL* the way back from the *BEGINNING* of the stage. At that point, I'd just say fuck it and stop playing. It's design like that that makes me declare Mega Man and Bass as one of the worst Classic Mega Man games and the hardest besides Mega Man 1 and Mega Man World 3 (III on the Game Boy)... as Mega Man. As Bass, the hardest it gets for him is mildly annoying, and the game is fun as Bass, like really fun. It's why I can't completely hate this game, besides the fantastic soundtrack. Now that I've gotten the heavy stuff out of the way, I'll briefly go over what I think of the soundtrack and weapon system. The soundtrack is awesome, in fact, it's one of my favorite Classic Mega Man soundtracks, with Cold Man's theme being my favorite track in the game. The weapon system is okay, with some weapons like the Magic Card, Lightning Bolt, and the Wave Burner being the best weapons, while the Copy Vision isn't too useful. I should also touch upon the fact that Tengu Man and Astro Man from Mega Man 8 are in this game. I would call it lazy, but their stages feel different enough from their Mega Man 8 stages, they give you different weapons, and they have new patterns to follow, so I'm glad that they were tweaked a bit from 8. In the end, Mega Man and Bass is a game that I'm completely split towards. When it comes to Mega Man, I hate it, and call it one of the worst Classic series games. As Bass, while it's not outstanding, I can enjoy myself. If more stages were designed like Dynamo Man's stage, making the stage fair for both while making a boss or section more challenging depending on who you play as, then this game would have been great. Also, who the hell thought it was a good idea to release the GBA version on the Wii U Virtual Console? That port is awful, so play the Super Famicom version, at your own risk.
Seriously dude, if you can make stuff like this, im pretty sure you could do reviews or something like that. Also, everyone thinks it was Bass only spin-off when it started development
I could read this all, and give an actual well thought out response, but I'm just gonna give you a like and call it good. This is the TH-cam comment section, not a 40 page essay.
Don't get it twisted, dude. That fist can very easily mess you up as Bass too. Keep in mind that Bass has less platforms to work with than Mega Man does. And if that fist wrecks the very platform you were trying to land on (especially if you've already used your double jump), well then...........
I beat this game for the GBA 4 years ago, I swear this game drove me insane and I beat it with Bass. I didn't want to even try to play with Megaman and I seriously felt like I did enough just by finishing it with Bass. I told myself that I'd never revisit this game to play it but I'll always revisit Johnny's review. I even took pictures of me finishing it, torturous memories to look back on.
As Clement has said in one of his videos, many players (including me) have become so accustomed to playing as Mega Man that I completed MM & B with him but could never beat it with Bass.
Even though the game's difficulty is insane a lot of the times, I still for some reason enjoy playing it. Not to mention it has a really fine soundtrack. I say it's on par with Megaman 7 & 8, but personally out of all 3 I say this one is at top for being more memorable. Of course that's just me really.
Woa I forgot how crazy this game is....I had it on the GBA after losing on Tengu man's stage with some catchy music...After picking Bass....I say Bass like the fish instead of Base but thats just me, I dont recall it being this this insane it was a cake walk after a few fails
I thought Megaman & Bass was pretty standard from a difficulty standpoint. I didn't even really use the powerups or anything. Am I alone in thinking this?
I'm legitimately amazed at how I beat the GBA version as both characters when I was 13. I can't play it for jack shit now. Still, its honestly one of my favourite MM games.
Mega Man & Bass is ridiculous in the dumbest of ways. I played as Mega Man and beat Astro Man with just the Mega Buster, after several failed attempts. I noticed a lot of jumps and enemies assume you have Bass' abilities all right. I may try to finish it later.
Only entry in the classic series that comes close in difficulty in this one is III on the Game Boy. And that one, you deal with the Game Boy physics and no Bass...
Have to agree this game is the embodyment of unforgiving! But for some reason the masochist in me enjoyed the trial and error approach, making it all the more satisfying to memorize all the shit the game throws at you, so you can finally give it a massive "fuck you!" back once you beat it! The cd collecting was coool as well and it has a lot of nods to the precursors in the series which is always appreciated! I like this installment in the franchise albeit it sucks that they didn't release it ouside of Japan in 1998 (but understandable as there was no market for new Snes games then in the west...)
I wonder why Capcom decided not to include Mega Man & Bass in Mega Man Legacy Collection 2? Perhaps it could be due to the game's difficulty, but that didn't stop Capcom from including Mega Man X6 (another notoriously difficult game in the Mega Man series) in Mega Man X Legacy Collection 2. Though, my best guess is that this isn't a numbered entry in the series, and was therefore ignored.
Yeah tbh I do prefer MM&B over X6, I know MM&B is not perfect but still my favorite in the series. at least the game was intended to be difficult and at least things are thought out well for the most part while X6 is Outright Bullshit. Mostly cuz of so much hazardous stage gimmicks and the nightmare system outright make the stages worse and also instances where you have no win scenarios. Aka the game tells you to fuck off for not having the jumper part (gate stage 1) and get fucked for using the shadow armor without jumper and speedster parts (or do a very precise Giga attack, which tbh how are you supposed to know that) in gate stage 2 X’s section
Hah, this game... This game is hard enough trying to play it normally, but perfect running it? Oh Man... I've watched two people who have done that and I was mindblowing. Seriously.
8:54 "When I'm megaman, Eddie may drop some big energy pickups or he could just screw me over with these dinky things!" Superb and subtle joke man! Great video!
For those of you who aren't in the know, the ending "next time" segment is a reference to One Piece, with the music being an instrumental of the show's first theme song, 'We Are.'
I don't care what ANYONE says, Burner Man isn't the worst Robot Master in this game. That award for bullshit difficulty goes to Magic Man! I HATE that bucket of bolts and scrap metal!
Burner Man is honestly an easy fight either way all you have to do is stand at the very edge and jump when he dashes at you . You might take like, a couplehits but you wont die and just follow him after pushing the ice pretty simple. MAGIC MAN is the worst god damn boss in this game next to Dynamo Man.
I loved this review man. Megaman has been one of my favorite capcom titles. althought i've never played the really old versions. I think I started with Megaman & Bass which is sad cause I enjoyed it but did think it was really tough. the only cool part to me was the music, bass, and the fact that I could smash ass on the bosses again with my powerups. Keep on keepin on this was both funny and informative.
Ivan Simpson in that case it's going to be more of a rant. Really clement bitched a lot about it in his Lp of x6. Wait a min I just realized something Unless it was forgotten. In Johnny's review of ghost and goblins. I believe the tails doll would haunt johnny for one more game and if remember correctly Clement mentions the tails doll too. It could happen.
David Shadow Star (A.K.A David4jet) omfg, FUCK X7, that is like the M&B of the X series, omg that game is so fucking hard, thank god its not canon, yeah it goes from x6 to the zero series, x7 and x8 are both non canon and any games that are a prt of the X series after X7.
To think that this translation was done prior to the GBA version and it's not only BETTER than that translation but it also is so good it seems official. Megaman acually has a pretty nice fanbase. Unlike a certain other blue dude.
The game can be real insane in alot of instances yes, but as a collectathon, MM&B was the game that really got me interested in the Classic Series. May not be perfect but it was fun none the less and I'd rank it in my top 3 Classic MM games. (And yes, I played the gba version.)
Mega Man and Bass was SO! FUCKING! BRUTAL! I was never so very angry at a video game as much as this game. I almost went insane after I’ve beaten Bass’ Playthrough. I still have Mega Man’s Playthrough to do, (which I’m so not looking forward to) but I’m taking a very long break from that brutal as hell video game.
Two points: 1. You didn't listen to his explanation about what worked and didn't work, in fact he NEVER complained about the games being too easy. In fact, he complemented that the easier difficulty of 6 wasn't a problem for him because he still had a really good time. 2. Journalistic integrity? He is an online video maker, not a journalist! There is a huge difference. He isn't paid to write reviews, he's paid to make entertaining videos providing his opinion on the games he plays!
I came back just for the nostalgia of watching old reviews, and I just learned that this game had a shop. So much of my time that could’ve been saved....
I just realized this now: The GBA port of this game came out to celebrate Mega Man's 15th anniversary. Mega Man X7 was made at the same time as well. Mega Man Network Transmission, too... Mega Man X7 is the Sonic 06 of Mega Man. The GBA port of MM&B is the Sonic Genesis of Mega Man. Network Transmission is Sonic Riders.
I love these videos but the weird "friends" make it awkward. Only Johnny seems to have any charisma on the screen, the other people are pretty terrible.
***** That's the exact reason I ENJOY BSC. They make jokes while also getting into extremely critical discussion. I find their videos very relaxing. I personally don't enjoy SGB as much, it just feels like any other Let's Play channel for me. Idk, maybe I've just watched too many let's plays and I've grown jaded?
I’m just gonna say it. If the game is designed around Bass, then why can Bass’ movesett downright skip chunks of the levels while MM have actually have to go through them?
Lol great to see Johnny play this game finally as part of the Platformania charity stream over at Fund the Charity Twitch channel. Really showed how awful the game was in design, and particularly how the GBA version made it that much worse. Screen crunch ! Of course Johnny had to sacrifice his sanity to do so, but hey it was worth it ;)
Megaman and Bass was the first Classic 2D platform megaman game I ever owned at age 13 on the GBA. To be honest, I didn't find it overly difficult. CHALLENGING, oh yes, but I managed to pull through. I made it to the second boss of King 2...at which point I raged quit and didn't pick the game up again for several years. Once I had more gaming experience, I had a blast going through this game again. Even the aforementioned boss was no longer a threat to me. Actually, when all's said and done, I prefer playing as Megaman. His buster's more powerful and he has much better item equips , in my opinion. To be perfectly honest, the only thing that irritates me in this game is the same thing that irritates me in any other 2D megaman game: instant death by spikes. While this game was challenging, I appreciate the foundation it gave me. The other titles are a cinch in comparison. Except for that fan game, Megaman Unlimited. Good lord...
6:14 That's not all. If you were just fucking around in the room and were over top of the lava when the characters are going to go towards the middle to warp out... if you fall into the lava, you don't die, and are instead constantly trying to walk right to exit the stage, meaning you've pretty much softlocked yourself. It's such an easy softlock to do... which makes me wonder why it even existed.
That awkawrd moment that you realize that they decide to make unnaccesible all stages, because you need the weapons to defeat the bosses, as a matter of fact you can kill Burnerman in 14 seconds using Ice Wall.
As someone who's only beaten the GBA version, and for many years thinking it was shit because of what people said... It's good, it's DAMN GOOD. People usually say it's a "bass game" because of how he plays. This games level design works well for both, you shouldn't have a hard time with megaman, I beat it as him on the GBA micro for the first time. Bosses are hard, but once you learn their patterns, they are just like any other. Music is fire, the final levels are a mix bag for me, the iconic multi fights aren't that bad, but they do take a while. There's ways to help you with the flying attack as megaman, using the thunder attack leaves you mid air for a while, use it when the fist comes up. I found the game harder as bass honestly. This is all coming from someone who sucks as megaman games btw. In the end, the hate this game gets is over blown. This game is hard, it's made that way. This is one of a few games you just have to (and I hate this phase lmao) get good.
“Get good” doesn’t lend any credibility to your arguments (which I already find questionable) whatsoever. I could “get good” at Bubsy 3D and still call it a train-wreck of game-design.
in defence of the jet from king stage 2 you can ignore the fist attack if you jump them use the thunder bolt to land on another platform (which can damage him) and if you get flash banged just stay still until it goes away. Don't use its weakness being the remote mine it can lead to accidental slides just stick to the buster. Not to mention the constant health and ammo drops the boss isn't that hard if you know what your doing
TomiousBombious That's the thing. Not everyone is gonna know what to do when playing for the first time. And the fact that you have to use a move in a possible unintended way just to _survive_ shows how poorly designed that boss is
>Mega Man & Bass was made for SNES kids who didn't have the Playstation.

But the game is still too fucking hard. Not MegaMan X6 bad, but it's still too hard for its own good
You hit the nail on the head there
+L-Y3T I would say that king fortress 2 is harder that anything in Megaman X6, but they both have their bullshit levels over 9000.

i have no fucking idea why its so hard but trust me if you play as bass then you're gonna have a much easier time, not too easier though
When I first played this game I played the GBA version as Megaman. Now I'm going back and playing as Bass on the SNES. It is WAY more managable. But still pretty crazy. In like a day I beat Coldman and Burnerman.
Now I'm on Pirateman's stage and I literally TORE through the whole thing.
mushroomdude123 yeah playing the gba version with megaman is about 95% impossible, but playing as bass in the SNES version is gonna make it easier but not TOO easier ;P, but I've gotten so good at this game that I can beat it in about 6-7 hours if I speedrun it
It's "SO HARD" because you're awful at Mega Man. Learn how to play, and reduce your reliance on E-tanks. Easy peasy.
The GBA port was the first Megaman I ever played and I still love it to this day.
Same here, the first classic MegaMan game I've played. The first first one for me though was Megaman Battle Network 3
More One Piece 'We Are' instrumental for the 'next time' part. Love it, Johnny!
I clicked show more, and my jaw hit the fucking floor.
dude calm down its just a megaman game chill dude
I could read this all, and give an actual well thought out response, but I'm just gonna give you a like and call it good. This is the TH-cam comment section, not a 40 page essay.
Don't get it twisted, dude. That fist can very easily mess you up as Bass too. Keep in mind that Bass has less platforms to work with than Mega Man does. And if that fist wrecks the very platform you were trying to land on (especially if you've already used your double jump), well then...........
It took me damn near 5 years to fully beat this game and get all the CD's. RIP my 3 game boys tho. They went through some shit.
11:45 Had a nostalgic moment from the SGB Sonic reviews.
Badass.
And with that great music playing
@@pancakecommanderandbowser2279 One Piece next episode preview.
I was considering getting this game on the Wii U eShop, but after seeing this review, I'm glad I saved a few dollars.
King Arthur I know I’m three years late, but this game isn’t bad. You just have to determined enough to beat it.
It's not a bad game but it is a bad Mega Man game.
I honest to god loved this game as a kid even though I had the GBA version. Heck its the game that got me into mega man.
I'm surprised Johnny didn't use his Censored Mode for this video.
I actually liked this game. But it's hard as FUCK, I'll give you that.
Me too and I played the GBA version
Leave Luck to Kevin Same! XDDD
***** But Super Mario Bros. 2 (JPN) is ridiculously easy.
teamnoah111 A.K.A, Doki Doki Panic.
***** A.K.A. I meant the one that only was released in Japan. You know, the one everyone claims is "ridiculously hard".
As Clement has said in one of his videos, many players (including me) have become so accustomed to playing as Mega Man that I completed MM & B with him but could never beat it with Bass.
Megaman & Bass: Because if Sonic & Knuckles can do it, so can we.
No guys, neither of you should play Mega Man & Bass for Brainscratch, just make Ted do it.
cwooddirector how about I just take a random guy
No, have Lewis play it.
Ted likes Ghosts n' Goblins, he'll love this game.
darkstar100x Lewis is more innocent than ted so I say ted
IT'S KING'S FORTRESS
This looks like if Megaman 7 and 8 had a baby. This is literally the type of game to have PS1 graphics on the SNES.
11:43 - That outro music from One Piece of the Pre-Timeskip revives my good old days watching it! :D Nice touch!😁
They added the ghost n goblins music for mega man 7 and now the ghost n goblins difficulty for this game
You forgot to talk about how Dynamo Man can fully heal himself. And how he has no weakness.
Came here right after J's review lol and these 2 vids could not be more hot/cold
I revisited this video after watching J's review and rewatching Nico's evaluation. XD
I love that throw back to "Month of Sonic 2" at the end there.
*****
Where Ryan was saying that "next time" stuff towards the end.
stinkydo0d I thought it was a reference to their BrainScratchCommentaries channel.
Bass design is probably my favorite out of all Megaman and Megaman X
Watching this in 2022, and was surprised how young you sound.
It makes since of course, but still caight me off gaurd at first.
Woa I forgot how crazy this game is....I had it on the GBA after losing on Tengu man's stage with some catchy music...After picking Bass....I say Bass like the fish instead of Base but thats just me,
I dont recall it being this this insane it was a cake walk after a few fails
Trying to get all the CDs was a huge pain, but I loved the game! Spent most of 10th grade playing it off and on :)
I'm in 10th grade, and I just finished it!
....as megaman.....
yes, I did it with Megaman
Luna PrincessNinjato how? :O srsly, I can only beat this shit with bass and even then the game is nearly fucking impossible
I thought Megaman & Bass was pretty standard from a difficulty standpoint. I didn't even really use the powerups or anything. Am I alone in thinking this?
+TeamTripleStar Uh...sarcasm, much?
John Bell no actually you aren't. Check out ExoParadigmGamers review.
I've watched this a few times before... Never knew Johnny was a One Piece fan.
Only entry in the classic series that comes close in difficulty in this one is III on the Game Boy. And that one, you deal with the Game Boy physics and no Bass...
I honestly think the difficulty in MM & Bass is exaggerated online, but the level design of III on the Gameboy is just an unholy abomination
@@bulb9970 Having played both, I’d actually argue the opposite. Yes, III is HARD. But I honestly had more fun with it than & Bass…
Piccolo: *hands Gohan Megaman & Bass*
Gohan: *Fights a boss*
Piccolo: DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOODGE
I love this game regardless of what people say about it LOL. I finished the game as MegaMan on my first playthrough!
This was the video I watched before our car crashed
OH GOD I REMEMBER THIS VIDEO COMING OUT AND IT’S BEEN 6 YEARS!!!!!!!!
They should have included Mega Man & Bass 1 and 2 in the legacy collection 2. That would make 6 games for each collection.
It feels like Mega Man was a last minute addition to his own game here …
4:16 John said"what pin head designed these stages", Patrick says"who you call'n pin head
It sounds like this should have been a Bass game with Megaman as an unlockable hard mode.
Ethan Ciotti I really like burner man.
He has a cool design, an interesting fight and his weapon the Wave burner is really useful.
If you have his weakness he is a cinch.
Agreed, burner man is annoying but magic man and dynamo man can get a screwdriver shoved up their asses
I'm like the one guy that loved this game.
I like this game too.
It has flaws, but I do enjoy it quite a bit
Exo and tgx made reviews and enjoyed it
I loved this review man.
6:15: The sheer anger in Johnny's voice.
Most viewed Mega Man SGB review is now 3 years old!
I just so happen to stumble upon it on it's 3rd birthday.
Megaman and Bass maybe hard but it's one of my favorite Megaman games of all time
King Fortress 2 is now dominating SomeCallMeJohnny
I wonder if he is going to do the X Series
***** Oh yes I tell ya he is going to rage like he did the sonic hero's specal stage
David Shadow Star (A.K.A David4jet)
As for Mega Man X6, Clement should be in the review as a guest!
The X series?
OH HECK YES!!!
David Shadow Star (A.K.A David4jet) omfg, FUCK X7, that is like the M&B of the X series, omg that game is so fucking hard, thank god its not canon, yeah it goes from x6 to the zero series, x7 and x8 are both non canon and any games that are a prt of the X series after X7.
no one else noticed the tails doll on his screen during the last part of the video right before the "next time on" bit
To think that this translation was done prior to the GBA version and it's not only BETTER than that translation but it also is so good it seems official. Megaman acually has a pretty nice fanbase. Unlike a certain other blue dude.
This game is the X6 of the classic series.
Johnny likes X6
SuperLemonadeGamer He does?
I remember him saying X6 isn't that bad, but I don't think he ever said he liked X6.
***** He said in the BSC X3 playthrough that he prefers X6 to X3. Which is just heresy to a high degree.
***** I'm the only one who has X6 as my second favorite in the X series (which is strange, I know )
***** Seriously, this game could use the hate. It's just plain awful
Two points:
I just realized this now:
The GBA port of this game came out to celebrate Mega Man's 15th anniversary.
So, Network Transmission is the BEST of the three?
@@jrpludacrous Probably.
Mother of God...
Battle Network blue/white vanilla version/ Black Version Mega Man Battle Network
I love these videos but the weird "friends" make it awkward. Only Johnny seems to have any charisma on the screen, the other people are pretty terrible.
What about clement?
skudzer1985 why the quotes around "friends"? Are you saying they aren't actually friends?
I liked the game
somebody save that reply and use this in a video review.
As Dr. Light would say. " That's an good question. "
I loved that ending. It reminded me of the classic Sonic reviews because of the music and Ryan's commentary.
Roahmmythril did a perfect run of this game, and said himself that it was a nightmare.
GaleTheStorm Megaman Unlimited might not have been so bullshit if there weren't so few checkpoints
xy394 True. So true.
And some people thought that Megaman X3 was hard?. At least that Energy tanks unlike this game and not outrageous difficulty.
I like the snippets of the Archie comic you used in this.
Johnny, ever consider doing the X games?
+B r a n d o n I think you mean reviews right?
Zayaan Nashrid
Yeah. Johnny vs. Mega Man X series.
B r a n d o n I want it........I WANT IT!
He said he'd do at least Mavrick Hunter X
+Sam Diamond plus 5x and 6x
I actually really like this one
The snes version of course
Why did they nerf MegaMan here so hard?
He feels inferior in this game by a longshot.
That awkawrd moment that you realize that they decide to make unnaccesible all stages, because you need the weapons to defeat the bosses, as a matter of fact you can kill Burnerman in 14 seconds using Ice Wall.
Awesome review, SCMJ. I was laughing pretty hard throughout. I've never played MM&B, but I can certainly feel your pain.
Protip: you dont even have to fucking attack king. Just wait for protoman to show up. dont waste your ammo
in defence of the jet from king stage 2 you can ignore the fist attack if you jump them use the thunder bolt to land on another platform (which can damage him) and if you get flash banged just stay still until it goes away. Don't use its weakness being the remote mine it can lead to accidental slides just stick to the buster. Not to mention the constant health and ammo drops the boss isn't that hard if you know what your doing
TomiousBombious That's the thing. Not everyone is gonna know what to do when playing for the first time. And the fact that you have to use a move in a possible unintended way just to _survive_ shows how poorly designed that boss is
Hurry up with the final review John, it needs to be the moment we've all been waiting 4! I am not waiting until Monday again!
Anyone feel like this is Classic Mega Man's Lost Levels?
