Cute speech from Rob. I remember at a friends wedding i talked to his dad and mom and they told me how they've looked for a photo of us two that they've remembered from when we were kids, but couldn't find it, and then all of a sudden i got asked by his dad to hold a speech from out of the blue. I teared up. Friends since 10years old, or something. Not prepared for shit. Kinda reminded me of that situation. It was impossible. But i joked around with all guests later anyway, so i made up for not being able to hold an improvised marriage speech infront of guests. The guy that wrote the stuff on IG about no one having Jamie's back actually looked like he was on the spectrum, but now his profile is not available anymore, privated i guess. Let's hope he'll come back, or change his mind. We need more different people in this world. The regulars are boring. Perry & Autistic people are a blessing if you work with em' (like i do, not Perry, autistic people overall). Great pod guys. You're back. Next week!

The catcher is essentially the quarterback. Great position. I played every position in the infield and pitched, but my favorite was catching. I was a small kid too, but in youth baseball, size isn't as important as later. The interaction with the umpire, every batter, the pitcher, and then seeing the field from that perspective is a lot of fun. I think just about every boy can appreciate the fascination with gear. Most of us have it, whether it is fishing tackle or tools or watches or...you name it, guys like gear.
Will Jamie be at the Sopranos con coming to LA? I got the "boss" ticket package so I'll be sitting up front first 13 seats! Can't wait to meet you to Rob!

So Jaime, in terms of Baseball, obviously in the end your kid will have certain positions that they are built for and best to be at, BUT! Catcher is one of the most important, if not the most important position on the field along with Pitched. Later on as he gets older, the Catcher is in charge of calling pitches, checking and holding runners on the bases, and if you are a great Catcher and even just an average hitter, teams will want you and find a place for you. Granted it has its injury possibilities with the squatting and collisions at the plate and pitches and foul balls possibly hitting you. In the end though, Catcher is a massively important position.
imo, perry hamming up his reactions is the number one reason it's not interesting reminds me a little bit of that instagram page, "overheard in LA" where people would DM conversations they overheard in LA.. it's funny originally but after you realise that they're likely not authentic, it's a bit sad

The first thing I think about when I think of Sopranos and poker is Robert Iler, and I have zero relation to poker otherwise. Liquor maybe.
I think most of the Perry stuff is harmless fun and its all giggles but sometimes it does go a little far and it seems like there's people who somehow actually hate him. I couldn't fathom somehow hating a dude who is obviously kind of slow and is just a joke at the end of the day. look in his chat and its not hard to find people saying I actually hate this dude being serious or actually malding over his actions its weird like some people have watch him for more than 20 years and cant stand him that's very strange. I think that's the minority I feel like most people either like him and think hes just harmless fun and like to watch him be weird and get trolled or think its funny but don't have any real feeling towards him and like to see him react but its weird to see him have actual haters. I'm not saying its as bad as like chis chan trolls or anything I just don't see how people can hate him to me Perry is the star he is in his mind just a very different type of star. watch his stream and listen to the weird stories he tells and the way he reacts and talks to his donations and how can you not be entertained and just think hes a silly weirdo.
Rob that doesn't excuse what you did. Whether a loyal fan or not. You need to be respectful to you cohost. Criticism is valid. If you don't like criticism then you shouldn't be in this business. They didn't call you fat or troll you. But realize when you are wrong. I am not saying you are, but dismissing your fans whether or not they watched every episode is wrong.
I love people crying about them maybe trying to create more engagement… It’s a Podcast Dude… The whole point is viewers and engagement and audience. 🤦♂️ What is wrong with people?
