Have a question about 4:38. So Lux is getting punished for being down gold, and also for hard pushing a cannon wave that didn't crash into tower - this is why you're able to zone her off the wave for a few waves. In this situation, you can either continue to punish her mid by holding the wave and zoning her off, or you can pressure by hard shoving which allows you to get vision river. Do you decide to hard shove and get vision because the expected value of that vision, and the future opportunities it creates when you next get pressure, is now higher than further punishing lux since you're already way ahead? Any insight into your decision making here would be appreciated, thanks!
I think I wouldn't be able to play as aggressive as I like and properly punish her if I don't have vision, so I decided to get vision first. Maybee there's an argument that Lux + graves isn't that strong a combo and I have flash so I could risk it, but it seems kinda unnecessary

Is there a timer you're thinking about? I originally hypothesized that you were trying to punish lux by holding waves, and then, once you felt like you had a big enough advantage, you shoved to get vision. Then, this vision allows you to safely pressure her, since you built up such an advantage and you're really strong so graves can't help. Definitely not questioning your decision-making, more just trying to internalize it so I can apply it myself. @@ShokLeague

I always found that very weird seeing sorcs boots with Liandry's. To me sorcs must be purchased with luden and potentially follow up with even more flat pen. I always go mercs or lucidity when I go liandry. Also don't understand the people buying Liandry + Shadowflame, any thoughts on this @Shok ?
Yeah I agree, liandry + shadowflame is pretty troll. Only reason I went sorcs was for the stronger spike early on but ye 99% of games you want liandry + lucidity or luden + sorc

Sorc shoes give flat pen. It gets worse The more MR The enemy buys. When enemy team comp has a lot of MR or will likely buy MR later on its better to buy cdr boots and Go liandries rabadon and voidstaff since void has 40% magic pen instead of a flat ammount 😊
tldr is that at higher MR values flat pen doesn't do much. If your opponent have low MR (say 40-50) then reducing this number by 18 is pretty significant, but if your opponents buy MR and then have like 150, reducing this number by 18 is pretty useless. Void staff is better vs high MR targets because its % magic pen rather than flat magic pen

One related question is, you repeat in this video that you DONT want to build Magic Pen items when you expect the enemy to build MR, but isn't that the point of Pen? I thought it's especially important to get when you have double AP BECAUSE they will have MR.. What am i missing here?
The TLDR is the flat magic pen is good against targets with low MR, but not very useful against targets against high MR. % magic pen on the other hand (void/cryptbloom) is good against targets with high MR but not very useful against targets with low MR. If someone has 40 MR and you have sorc shoes, you cut their MR almost in half (40-18) but if someone has 200 MR, taking 18 magic resist away from this is almost negligible.
Most of your e’s on jax pushed him into terrain as he jumped on you, so he didn’t get moved into the orb you precast. Your map awareness is something I aspire to, don’t beat yourself up. Thanks for the vods.

Did that lux buy their account? I cringe every time i see lux with ignite (usually supports) but dark harvest ignite WITH a tear start is too much of a red flag

Ahri is good yeah, you can carry most games by changing your itemization (ludens/liandry/everfrost)

I think horizon kinda sucks, it can be built on Xerath/Hwei/Lux/Zoe etc but I honestly think other items are just better
