Rising of Evil is basically "How dare you have a head attached to your neck" the mod
its also the mod where Bawk does the worst in tbh due to the fact that he didnt really inform himself on what weapon to use against who, he had the chance to burn Dogs so many times and he decided to waste ammo on them while 1 incendiary grenade would've done the Job.
the way he plays the mod... hes making it waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay harder for himself and hes not even playing on impossible difficulty lol.
It looks horrendous for someone like me who had 93 deaths on his first professional playthrough

I feel like there could have been a better way to make a tough mod that didn’t include filling every room with loads of chainsaw guys. It does make it more impressive that you’re getting through it still though.
This and the other mods that are super difficult are like that, entertaining but the mega salvador is kinda annoying

Thats sadly the case with most resident evil mods they just flood the rooms with op enemys with a health buff and call it a day 😀

But by that point you'd have access to every gun...
Game's insane in the castle until you get the semi-auto rifle. Becomes easier after that.
Can't wait for that part. I love this playthrough. I bet the mod creator did use those Armaduras a ton lol

The 3 hardest rooms are in island and castle. Waterhall, emergency key card red hat, and the Gatling gun fuckery where there’s 100 projectiles flying at you per minute in 5-4. That chapter is ridiculous.
This mod looks like pain but god I am loving WATCHING it.
Saw someone in chat describe this as "I Wanna Be The Resident Evil" and I understand this reference and agree.

The fact that you also used Ashleys traditional outfit and not the knight also proves how good you are in this mod
The mod arthur states in his notes that you cannot use the knight outfit or the game will crash automatically. I know this because I played and beaten this mod back in 2019 or 2020, it's been a while
@@DEADLOCK3xxx the mod has multiple copies that the modderhas been releasing in the past four years , am looking at bawk’s mod version and i feel lost even so i have seen a multiple content creators playing it but still look different

@@nox8521 Yeah I remember that he had a few different versions that can make the mod even harder then what it is now. I remember playing his "Life in Hell" mod for RE4, which came before his "Rising of Evil" mod and that mod was even harder because it was easy to get softlocked at almost every door. There's also another mod called "Arrange" mod that came after "Rising of Evil" and that one is pretty fun
@@DEADLOCK3xxx will arrange was fun and some gimmicks was actually challenging like the verdugo boss fight being on steroids but i don’t think bawk would actually love the “horde” and dishing weak enemies constantly with ammo being even more scarce cuz i have heard him multiple times complaining about mods being repetitive and having these gimmicks only and the version that bawk playing is the easiest cuz others doesn’t have riot shotgun in the beginning plus there is a several mega chainsaws missing in this one as far as he reached this area

The bit where you have to shoot to open the doors before the rig drops with the big monster attacking from above ought to be hillarious.
There's a tight time limit and tight hallways. Haha
You'd think playing a game for 1k would be laughably easy, but you're gonna work for that money with this mod I think.

When I want to sit down and enjoy a game, the last thing I want to deal with is getting my head cut off ten thousand times while hearing farting sounds the entire time. Thank you for enduring this hell for us, Bawk!

I love that you play this mod :) JTB did a playthrough of this and i loved every second of it. You are at the very least as entertaining as him so keep it up my dude and let's take Saddler down once again in RE4 :)
the greatest tragedy of the JTB playthrough is he lost the vods for 5-1 and the first half of 5-2

The problem with these "super hard" mods in video games, is the modders just shove a load of instant death traps or instant death enemies in, making a health bar mostly pointless.
I will say its cool to see Bawk beat these mods without cheats or anything. I've come across lets players that literally resort to cheats on camera, and they say "hey well, I tried to beat these mods without infinite health for half an hour!"
Its like, if people can't beat a mod without cheats, they should play something else then.
I used to use rewind in retro games (on a lets play), but I stopped because I felt bad and it shows I have no skill in games.

Lol bawk they're cursing at you big time alot in this mod. They're usually saying "ENOUGH YOU SON OF A B####" I think I heard one of them called you a cabron which is basically the same thing. I'm just laughing my ass off because they're cursing up a storm as they try to kill you😂. It's also they way it's coming out of their mouths too they're saying it full blast with crazy anger lol.

I actually really like how scarier the atmosphere is in this mod. If they just toned it down a bit in terms of difficulty and with the amount of enemies that are spawned in each area it could be quite an impressive mod. However what was showcased in this video seems lazily put together and I'm obnoxious to play

Now i know what you say about back seating and youtube shenanigans but this is different I promise its more of general info for future reference and i am sure you will catch up quick since you are gamer for long.
Here it comes:Fall damage in 70%of games follow the rule of (damaging a a certain amount of the max% of the health pool over certain distance)basically the larger the health pool the more damage they/you take cuz its a percentage loss not a flat amount and Re4 is even an older game which there is even a higher chance it follows this rule .
Now why am i saying this because i watched the vod channel and cant help but notice something so i watched it again and somewhat kept track of those who took fall damage and found out that those who took the fall died quicker from your weapons than the others and one of the salvadors just got knocked dead from fall damage now you might say well their health are randomized and thats valid but also maybe the rule i spoke of is in effect now I cannot confirm it since i dont have the means to test or play it for that matter because reasons :).
Now dont quote me on that its just a theory….”a game theory!” :p
