Seriously people in the comments section are being so funny because selena went to David's wedding and even gave a speech as a family member, as a sister. David has also said many times she has always been her little sister from the start, he never had romantic feelings for her and this year again again selena told the world that david is truly her elder brother and she has always looked up to him as alex looks at justin. Both of them never did anything like a romantic couple. They have always been like real siblings for true. She also said in a insta pic that she is very happy that david always supported her as her brother. Please people don't be delusional. The chemistry between them isn't romantic at all but it is rather a one real siblings have. Still no offense to anyone who wants to believe in whatever they want to but really be a little more wise

Selena and David had amazing chemistry on the show. It fit well for them to play siblings. Even the many of the scenes display a nice neither and sister bond. Even Jake had his nice sibling moments too on the show.

I remember seeing how salty Justin and Max were about losing the competition towards Alex and all I could think about was how they’d rather compete and possibly lose two of their closest friends than to be powerless and have saved their friends. It made me so mad at their pettiness I felt like Alex should’ve gotten to give at least one slap to their faces because it was so intense

I hated them so much when i watched it... I wanted the same.. Atleast for max.. A slap wasn't enough..I can say I have a lot..a lot in common with Alex..bt..If I were her.. I would've burst out and definitely put up this point to all the four other members with harper and zeke in the room!!

I truly agree with Justin, when he said, that Alex deserves to be the family wizard.
I mean, she rescued the world again and again. And sometimes she acts like nothing is important enough to care about, but she always fights for the right things and tries to be better than before. She always tries to protect her loved ones and everything which is important to her. She had the most experience in the family because she used magic all the time. She made mistakes and learn to fix them.
She is way better as Justin. Justin is the most time about winning the competition and always gets mad when Alex do something good. He never congratulated Alex really, until the end.
I love their relationship. They are the best example of what a family should be about. Even if a family fights they'll always forgive each other no matter what. A family's bond is the best magic anyone can ever possess. 👨👩👧👧
Idk why people are saying they can see them as a romantic couple like ew no. I love their sibling bond I’ve never seen them or even think of anything more. Alex is Justin’s younger sister he looks out for her, covers for her, saves her when she is in trouble with magic, they annoy each other and bicker but deep down love each other and care for each other. And watching Justin get so upset at mason for breaking Alex heart was so funny and cute lol

Starting from the wizard of the year and the idea guy in the house and stuff to the wizard competition where he literally got mad at Alex for saving his best friends
It always struck me how Justin never got punished for being so mean to Alex
And Jerry and Teresa didn’t take stronger action towards how Justin and Max treated Alex after they got disqualified
Max somehow got a bit smarter during the competition but a lot meaner as well
he was honestly a great brother up until season 3. disney thought that alex and justin were too close so they told the writers to separate them. resulting in mean, jealous justin who didnt care about alex at all.

I think that because Justin is often hailed as the "golden boy" of the family, the parents typically don't call him out when he's being a jerk but they are quick to call Alex "selfish" for no reason and they kinda neglect Max
Exactly! He was so selfish and rude and disrespectful towards Alex unprovoked.. i get it when she started some things but most times she didn’t and he attacked her for no reason at all. This is exactly why I hated his character from the beginning. He never received any punished nor consequences from that behavior nor for the wrongdoings he did to Alex. Like the citizenship award?? He sabotaged Alex because he was jealous she got the award instead and was he punished? No. He literally made her feel so horrible.

I just realized that the movie where Alex becomes the family wizard is actually canon because she didn’t actually win when everything went back to the way it was.
What about the part when she went to hug Justin and max and just said “What did you do”. Alex then showed the aura of her being a full wizard.

I don't think the romantic type of love is special. And I am started to think that the romantic type of love isn't real. I mean about more than half of romantic couples either break up with each other or divorce each other, while most platonic best friends remain friends until death.
I think that having a platonic best friend is a lot better than having a romantic partner or spouse is. Having someone who's like a sibling to you is a lot better than having a romantic partner or spouse. Also, you are more likely to be much more closer to someone who's like a brother or sister to you than you would be with a romantic partner or spouse.
People tend to fight with their partner or spouse a lot more than they do with a platonic best friend, and you never fight with your best friend the way you fight with your partner or spouse. Partners and spouses are just temporary. If you break up or divorce them, it's hard to go back to them. With your platonic best friend, you're going to make things work, because they are your best friend, they are your go to partner. It's always easier to make amends with them than it is with a romantic partner or spouse.

Guys. If you ship these two romantically, or any other couples that are in the same family...find help. I'm serious, if you just love siblings relationships, because of the bonding and stuff, it's okay. But if you think it's normal to think about siblings in a different way...it's not. Family is to be there for you in your hard times, in your Happy times, they should be our best friends, that's it. No matter what you heard in world, family is for that, that safe space where you can find love and hope, and no matter what you're feeling right now, there's always a way out. If you think it's okay to ship because it's fiction...think twice, they represent a sibling relationship and if you can't see that too...find help. Whatever it is...don't give up.
