Thanks for making this video, especially the part about the multifunction switch contacts. Do you know the dimensions of the screws you used to replace the rivets? I want to make sure I pick the right ones before starting this job. Thank you.
I can measure them. They're the tiny ones that hold KeyTronic keyboards together. Heck I have a bunch of extras, I can just mail you some. Drop me a line, my handle at null.net
So there should be power on the pin 2 when pushing the switch up and down? And pin 3 is constant power? And pin 6 should have power when pulling towards yourself?
On the stalk pin 2 is the power supply from the fuse. It always has power. I'm plugging my test light into the computer connector. Pin 1 on the stalk / 3 at the computer is the "on" pin, it should have power in all positions except cancel (resting, resume, accel, decel) Pin 5 on the stalk / 6 at the computer is "resume", it should have power when you pull the stalk towards you Pin 3 on the stalk / 2 at the computer is "set decel", it should have power when the stalk is pulled down Pin 4 on the stalk / 4 on the computer is "set accel", it should have power when the stalk is pulled up
@@juhoreiss4691 The amplifier is usually the problem. What year is your car? Does the amplifier have the coding plug? If so it likely just needs the capacitors replaced.
@@compu85 My car is 92 and it has the coding plug. Someone already changed the capacitors and also cracked the board😂 But i will buy another amplifier from a 92 4matic, hope it works.
Thank you!!! You Just fixed my problem! Quickest 1 min fix Iv ever done
Heh, which problem? I went over several in this video.

My 1989 300SE - has no LED brake lights. Also, have no power in pin 6. What could be wrong?

@@compu85 thanks! I tested mine, and also tested the cc actuators motor and solenoid. They sounded good. So i will probably need a new amplifier

@@juhoreiss4691 cool! Those are compatible between years, just swap the coding plug from your original computer.
