I have only practiced in the ocean with my whitewater kayak once, but it was a lot of fun. Not only is it good for learning surfing, it's also great for learning to roll in moving water without having to worry about getting flushed down the river if you have to swim. You just walk up onto the beach, empty the boat, and go back into the water.
Love seeing you be an ambassador to the sport and teaching kids. Looks like a great time was had by everyone!

Here are some pretty good young shredders in this video.I hope they all keep it up, even the ones who are maybe not so good right now. It will be a lifetime of fun later down the way if they do.
Great job, Bren, helping new boaters get stoked about the sport! You're not only sending it on amazing rivers all up and down the world, but also sending new kayakers into the sport, and that's priceless.

Bren, it's really great to see you help out so many of these kids to become better kayakers and to let them have even more fun and confidence on the water!
You're a kind person for taking the time and energy to do that, and seeing your genuine enthusiasm and encouragement is certainly infectious! I try to teach my kids in a similar manner, but I have nowhere near the kayaking skill. Still, it's just so rewarding to see them learn (and learn so quickly!) and have more fun on the water!

The sea is just one of the best places. Love it, but can be quite intimidating sat in a kayak, particularly a playboat. Itching to get my surf kayak back out there.
