@@everydayebony I don't think she's saying this caused the stroke, of course not. It's just that this was the day that Rob had his stroke, it started during signing I think, Rich mentioned that he kind of slurred his words for a short while but then was fine so they thought nothing of it (assumed he was just tired or whatever) until later when it properly hit him. So maybe there were also signs a little earlier, like here during his panel, but nobody realised at the time.
... so at some point this weekend, Rob's carotid artery ripped, causing him to have a stroke. i see ty and misha grabbing him andit makes me cringe. it makes me wonder.
It would have happened anyway. Arteries don't just rupture like that without there being a medical issue beforehand. And if this caused it to happen that weekend instead of a couple days/weeks/months later, that might have actually saved his life, because if it happens during the night and he might not have woken up at all. Instead he was surrounded by good friends that realised something was wrong and took him to a hospital right away. (And now I'm going to watch happy Rob vids to counteract that horrible thought.)
@@hilarybenoit2926 Sadly trauma from movement can cause the artery to tear. My friend at 40 had a tear followed by a stroke, which likely happened during Jujitsu, and Tim Omundson said deadlifting likely caused his tear. It's hard to pinpoint though, but I know my friend's stroke happened days after his last Jujitsu session, so I think if that was the case for him, it took a long time for the tear to lead to the clot and then stroke. It's freak and rare, and impossible to predict and no one's fault, but now I kind of live in a little bit of fear of straining my neck in such a way.
I'm very late to the party here, but after watching this, I wanna weigh in. I've spent a lot of time around guys because I have two brothers and a lot of guy friends, and what Ty was doing with Rob is typically exactly how guys horse around with each other. I saw a comment on Pinterest saying that Ty caused Rob's stroke when he put him in the headlock, but I'm telling you, the headlock that he put him in was not tight enough to cause any serious issues (I read medical charts for a living so I have some idea of what I'm talking about lol). I agree with one of the other commenters here - Rob probably already had the underlying issue that caused his stroke, but obviously, no one really noticed or thought much of it. And honestly, as awful as it is that it happened at all, it's good that it happened when he was surrounded by costars/friends, rather than alone in his hotel room, or asleep, because he probably wouldn't be here today. Instead, the others knew immediately that something was wrong and took him to the hospital. So I just wanted to jump in and put to rest the idea that Ty Olsson was responsible for Rob's stroke. He wasn't. Nobody was.
Don't kill Rob! He's a protected species!
LOL @ Misha and Ty picking Rob up and Richard is just standing there laughing his ass off. Great stuff!
Is no one else going to comment that when Misha does a British accent, he sounds like Damien Lewis?
I want to see these men on dancing with the Stars!
Ty is such a jolly guy
RSJ played my favorite angel
Did finding Tys phone actually make the GISHWHES list
That's a pretty good English accent there...
Vivien Collins em? Okay?
It sounded like Ty..
flip him over, try to steal his lunch money...
I can definitely see that before they even put him backwards Robs left side of his mouth was drooping.
Wait, what do you mean?
This is a really late response but that doesn’t cause a stroke

I was looking back to see any signs/ symptoms and seeing that made me think " there it is! "
Arteries don’t rupture becuase of trauma. He probably had a blood clot. thats probably what caused the stroke.
