It is true , some Tribes are still dependent on Federal Funds and have that right , but we can also be doing things for each of our Tribes especially the Sovereign Nations to attract businesses to operate on Tribal Land at a discounted operating cost , and I believe North Dakota is considering allowing Gaming in their state off of The Reservations . There is already one proposed site in Grand Forks , which is off-reservation . This should open up opportunities for other Tribes to purchase land there and open Casinos . These are just a couple things to think about for financial independence . If Trumps Tariffs work out there will be companies moving back to The US and will need a place to work .

Why does the Rez have casinos but no arcades pools bowling alleys or skating facilities for our youth? Or spprts complexes? Next Generation need to entertain our future and sharpen their natural talents. We can shut down major sports with our talent. Imagine a traveling league Northern Cheyenne Morning Stars vs another tribes youth in Massachusetts. Let's Go

Are you worried that the new administration will take over federal lands that are tribal in order to access resources like in Alaska?

"Indian Country?" I thought we did away with that "I" word a long time ago. We say, Native American communities or Indigenous Land. I protested in the 80s forus to be called "Native" "Indigenous "

It's time to develop relationships with business, rather than the federal government. Get away from dependency and develop lands, tax exemptions and deferred costs for industries to come to indian communities to provide real income jobs. Provide the infrastructure for private business entrepreneurship for individual indian wealth, not just tribal government jobs. Those aren't real jobs.

Before I heard rumors that funding was a fantasy but that is what needs to happen. Make them do their job but not depend on them
