Ich bin Deutscher und mir gefällt die deutsche Sprache besser als Englisch, habe aber 25 Jahre im Ausland gelebt, und mir ist das erst dort bewusst geworden daß Deutsch eine sehr schöne Sprache ist.
Die "einfachste" Sprache der Welt ? Sagen sie das mal einen Franzosen, für die ist Spanisch oder Italienisch viel einfacher zu verstehen und zu erlernen. Das hängt also auch von unseren Ursprungsland ab welche Sprache "einfach" oder "schwierig" ist. In Deutschland hatte ich in Englisch, 9. Klasse, eine 5 , danach ging ich in Frankreich auf ein Lycée, hier war ich plötzlich fast der beste der ganzen Klasse.

Immer und immer wieder hör ich dieses schöne lied an. Sogar in Religionsuntericht schlug ich das Lied unsere Lehrerin vor. War klar, dass sie es im Unterricht abspielte. Zuerst haben zwar alle gelacht, aber nach "starb im fernen Land" schwiegen alle andächtig und beeindruckt.

Ich verstehe dich. Ich lerne Deutsch vor einem Jahr und einigen Monaten. Jeden Tag fuehle ich, als ich michin einer Dschungel befinden wuerde, wenn ich versuche Deutsch zu sprechen. Aber ich finde, dass sie eine so wunderbare Sprache ist, und will unbedingt weitergehen, sie zu lernen. Es wird der Moment ankommen, in dem wir sagen koennen werden, "Ich hab'es geschafft, Deutsch zu lernen". Gib niemals aus ;)

Darkness Divine Same about the German heritage but I think that’s silly. The song’s origins are Celtic, not German. You’re just appreciating a beautiful song. All Anglo Saxon people could claim a connection, as they’re all related.
@@jonw1235, indeed, English is mixed from Gaelic, Saxon, Anglish, Swebish and Latin with some old French influences (Normandie). German is more Saxon-based,mixed with Gaelic and 7 ore more other Germanic languages. (Gothic, Swebish and some others). So it's not a problem to translate old Gaelic poem to English or German.
I looked at the comments, I'm actually glad I'm not the only one who can hear the similarities between Wilde Rose and Siúil a Rún. Both are beautiful folk songs, both terrifically made. The similarities, to me, remind me of the fact that Germans (Scandinavians) were a Celtic tribe. More commonly known of the Celts were those of the British Isles, mostly the Irish Celts and the Gaelic (Scottish Celts). These songs are so beautiful.
I am pleased that someone knows the differences between the years celts lived and german lived and that of course the celtic culture is a much much older cultur than the germanic culture. Germanic tribes departs from the celtic cultures, the celtic culture is much older. I just can't believe that most people can't question this.

Immer und immer wieder hör ich dieses schöne lied an. Sogar in Religionsuntericht schlug ich das Lied unsere Lehrerin vor. War klar, dass sie es im Unterricht abspielte.
Zuerst haben zwar alle gelacht, aber nach "starb im fernen Land" schwiegen alle andächtig und beeindruckt.
Oh man ist ein schönes Lied wirklich muss aber immer an der selben Stelle an zu weinen da das Lied einfach so gut passt da mein Opa im Krieg starb und er meiner Oma einen letzten Brief schrieb und in diesen eine Rose malte die über sie wachen sollte 😭😢

Ich verstehe dich. Ich lerne Deutsch vor einem Jahr und einigen Monaten. Jeden Tag fuehle ich, als ich michin einer Dschungel befinden wuerde, wenn ich versuche Deutsch zu sprechen. Aber ich finde, dass sie eine so wunderbare Sprache ist, und will unbedingt weitergehen, sie zu lernen. Es wird der Moment ankommen, in dem wir sagen koennen werden, "Ich hab'es geschafft, Deutsch zu lernen". Gib niemals aus ;)

I like this music. I cant understand german but most of my family is from Germany(Decendents wise) so I feel connected to it.

Darkness Divine Same about the German heritage but I think that’s silly. The song’s origins are Celtic, not German. You’re just appreciating a beautiful song. All Anglo Saxon people could claim a connection, as they’re all related.
@@jonw1235, indeed, English is mixed from Gaelic, Saxon, Anglish, Swebish and Latin with some old French influences (Normandie).
German is more Saxon-based,mixed with Gaelic and 7 ore more other Germanic languages. (Gothic, Swebish and some others).
So it's not a problem to translate old Gaelic poem to English or German.

I looked at the comments, I'm actually glad I'm not the only one who can hear the similarities between Wilde Rose and Siúil a Rún. Both are beautiful folk songs, both terrifically made. The similarities, to me, remind me of the fact that Germans (Scandinavians) were a Celtic tribe. More commonly known of the Celts were those of the British Isles, mostly the Irish Celts and the Gaelic (Scottish Celts). These songs are so beautiful.
I am pleased that someone knows the differences between the years celts lived and german lived and that of course the celtic culture is a much much older cultur than the germanic culture. Germanic tribes departs from the celtic cultures, the celtic culture is much older. I just can't believe that most people can't question this.
There are a lot of celtic excavations in nowadays germany.
