  • Fatheads this size can cost more than $35 a piece depending on where you get them from. I spent a total of $26 to make both of these fatheads with all the supplies you see listed here, plus the optional paddles I mention at the end. Office Depot/ Office Max are always running specials. I originally planned for one fathead then I was prompted when I added that one to the cart to add another adhesive print and get two prints for $9 each. I was then able to apply my 20% off coupon to the prints and my x-acto knife as well. Leaving me with this phenomenal deal. I have the exact pricing below along with links.
    Any graphic design program to make the head only. Save to computer to upload to Office Depot / office max website.
    Supplies:
    Office Depot/ Office Max ( I used a 20% off coupon)
    $3.79 X-acto Knife- www.officedepot.com/a/product...
    $8.80- Per Adhesive Print. I had 2 prints. www.officedepot.com/a/product...
    Dollar Store:
    $2- 2 foam boards 20x30
    From Home:
    Card
    Cardboard Box
    Optional:
    Paddle from dollar store. I purchased 2.

    what option did you use in canva to make the head?

      Hi! I clicked on the image, hit edit image, and then pressed the bg remover button. It will remove the background and you can press the erase and restore buttons to get the object down to the size you need. Hope this helps!

      Hi Richeda! I printed mine at Office Depot at that time. I would print at Walgreens/ CVS. Whoever has the best deal. Shop around between those three stores. Make sure you chose the adhesive poster option. I cut off a fan from the dollar store and hot glued it to the bottom of the head. I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any more questions. Happy to help.

    How did you get the edges to be smooth? Mine is kinda wiggly when I use the erase tool.

      I zoomed in as much as I could. I also cut out right on the picture, not too far in but enough not see any imperfections in the print. Hope this helps!

      @@lindsaywhite5332 Your welcome! I can't remember I think it is 16"x20". If you are planning on printing in the next couple of weeks, I hear Walgreens has a better deal over Office Depot on the poster paper now.

    • @DesignwithMEEAshleyDEE
      @DesignwithMEEAshleyDEE  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      HI! Yes I sure can. I just want to make sure I understand. Are you asking about how I got it down to the head in the graphic design program?

    • @luisasanchez7617

      @@DesignwithMEEAshleyDEE yes!

      @DesignwithMEEAshleyDEE  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@luisasanchez7617 I used Canva. Under the effects tab there is a background remover button. It lets you erase and restore things you want or don't need on the pictures. I removed the body and other things in the picture down to his head using the erase button. I saved the head on a PDF or whatever format the print place takes. Side note: I believe you need a paid account to use the background remover under the effects tab. I'm not sure though. Hope this helps! Let me know if you have any more questions. I'm happy to help.

      You can print at Walgreens. They have both regular and adhesive posters that come in an assortment of sizes. However, to save the most money on your posters Office Depot/ Office max gives you the best deal. I will put a link below. Hope this helps!
