- Komatsu showed their new 8 wheel harvester 931xc for the first time in Austria. The performace with nice wood on steep and wet ground was very good!

awesome video, nice machine. The person that commented about it being under powered has no idea, several cuts are necessary for trees for such a large diameter, cutter bar is only so long. I operate these machines for a living, never in such big timber though.

Das ist so schön Komatsu in Österreich zu sehen. Komatsu ist in meiner Heimatstadt gegründet und Österreich ist wie meine zweite Heimat (Früher habe ich da studiert.)

I think it is very impressive the size of tree this midsize 931 harvester is handling
I don't know anything about forestry or these forestry machines but for some reason it is very nice to watch. I've noticed there are multiple companies like John Deere, Komatsu, Ponsse etc making these machines, which company is regarded as the 'best' machine manufacturer?

I am not a logger, but looks like that dangle head prosser is a small, and the reason I think that is because it seems to struggle a bit to cut the limbs off with the blades on the processor, with seeing one work on a logging side. Can't remember the model number, but know it was a waratah processor, and wasn't having much of any problems.

Und was ist der Unterschied zwischen Advance oder nicht ? Weis man das? Das Video ist übrigens sehr gut geworden, habs schon paar mal gesehen, immer wieder ein Genuss. gz
Autolev ist die Kabinen & Krannivelierung, Autolev Advanced ist auch Kabinendämpfung. Freut usn, dass es dir gefällt. Mit dem Nebel sticht die nagelneue Maschine so hervor :)
Bei welchem Durchmesser ist Schluss beim c144 ? Ähnlich wie H270 von den Grünen? Also bei so 650 - max 700 ?

Diesel Power , ja laut Prospekt, weicht aber ab. Denn der H270 hat auch mit 750mm noch kein Problem, und laut Prospekt ist mit 650 Schluss :)

Denke weil es eine Maximale Öffnung der Messer gibt,und einen Fàlldurchmesser gibt
Und denke das es am geschick des Fahrers liegt welchen Durchmesser er darüber hinaus noch fällen kann

Autolev ist Standard, Autolev Advanced ist Zusatzausrüstung.

It is the biggest head that fits on the machine.

this head performs way better with Balmec spiked feed rollers!
It would be a good shot, unfortunately one sees the editing trees almost never seen.

The branches were very big in diameter! Its in a part of Austria, where there is lots of snow.
Konehan on hyvä mutta kuski näyttää olevan melkonen tunari. Ja kaatopääkään ei ole näköjään semmoinen, mihin Suomessa on totuttu. Ei tuollasella touhulla tiliä tehdä!
