    The best or highest good is the all-inclusive One. The All in One in All.
    What appears as separate and opposite, is in Reality - Continuum.
    It is the nature of the all-inclusive One without a second to 'Serve' as the All in One in All Continuum of Being that functions as a diversified unity of Infinite potential (Creative Intelligence), Eternally actualizing as a unified diversity or Uni-verse of experience.
    Because the actualization of Infinite potential is Eternal, the conversion of potential into actual is indefinite, emergent.
    Integration = Integrity = Excellence
    Excellence = Goodness, Truth, Grace, Beauty, Creative Empowerment.
    The abstract called Love, can be expressed concretely as a hug, etc.
    Unity = All-inclusive Continuum

      Actually of course, this guy is quite horrible at teaching Platonism.
      For he starts with premise you can from the outside start, and from here, work your way to the center.
      All he does is call a bunch of points. Naming the ingredients of the cake you're going to cook. A true, a real, a worthy _logos_ of Platonism is, in essence, like a sermon.
      Do you see _this_ point? It is within you; look for it on the chalkboard, and _you have lost it._

    Excellent lecture and lecturer. But would it be so difficult to tell the questioners to use a microphone? As my mother tongue is Greek and not English I don' t understand what they are asking for... and try to guess the questions or commentaries from the teacher's answeres....

    Duality forms unity. It's the secret of creation itself.

      What appears as duality is in Reality phases of unity.

    The Dao (0) produced One; One produced Two; Two produced Three;
    Three produced All things. (Dao De Jing, Chapter 42, James Legge translation)

      From 1 to many is still conceivable by the human mind. But this leap from 0 to 1, and to even try to conceive what 0 is or means, is the mystery of all mysteries.

      As the Nasadiya Sukta of the Rig Veda states, "Whence all creation had its origin.....He knows - or maybe even He does not know." Even God (1) has no idea how He/It came about from Dao/Brahman/Shunyata (0).

    • @waruiboya2575

      In brief: 0 is inconceivable; 1, 2, 3...many = conceivable.

      @@waruiboya2575 0 means nothing. Nothing is nothing, does not produce, does not exist, unless you want it to.

      @@simban00 Nothing is still conceivable. Nothing basically means the absence of 1 or many. 0 cannot be conceivable, and so it is not merely "nothing".

    It ought to be : 0 and Many. 1 itself is part of Many. 1 cannot have a limit but can only proliferate. 0 is the only limit. It eternally exists (if that's even a word you can use for it) as a limitless limit. And a complex, seemingly limitless Many-ness can mathematically be made to lead to a remainder of 0.

    • @waruiboya2575
      @waruiboya2575 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      And this 0 is what some call the Brahman, the Dao, etc.

      Heh. You sound like a fellow (sister) database designer. Database design parallels universal design, in which zero to many is well understood.

    Good lecture bad lecturer. Smart Plotinus and proclus being presented, unsmart man giving only his answers and can't answer others sufficiently. But lecture itself was beautiful. And the knowledge therewith.
