This kind of content is needed! Thank you! Wish I could get you some more views! I’ll be sharing this. Some of us didn’t get to learn all the tricks from dad! Haha.
@@PinwheelPortz thanks and ya that was def what I was goin for with the channel
Thank you! I'm just starting to make wooden flags and the template is just under 10.5, actually 10.43 and nearly impossible to get five equal stripes next to the union.
I've been cutting boards at 1/8 increments, big pain in the butt!
Can't wait to use your suggestions. Thanks Bob
That’s great I hope it works for you
Really great technique… Thank you for sharing✌🏾
Thanks and no problem
Thanks! That is brilliant, wish i knew this years ago
I’m glad I could help keep up the good work
Awesome thanks
no problem
I made your cell phone Holder the one with 2 pieces. Piece of cake. 😂 Sorry couldn't resist. Thank you
That’s awesome
@@DavidsDiyReviews Sometimes simple is. I edited my comment because I didn't say 2. I'll tell you what i'm doing. My friend asked for a cell phone holder. After going through a lot cell phone holders videos made with wood. It became quite obvious that it's a super easy thing to make.
So as a joke, I am going to bang off as many as I can. I can't wait to see the look on her face.
Mostly i'm doing this because it helps me with my anxiety. So thank you
Nice tip!
thanks.
Say if you wanted to cut that smaller one into equal lengths, not across but up & down is there a method?
It would be the same method
Hello, I just tried but didn't do something right.
My problem is that I have 5 spaces I need to do equally.
Do I put the tape at 10.5 at an angle then mark the five spaces?
I did cut some boards starting at 1.75, had one on hand, and that was no good. Finally I got to 2.125, cut a few pieces and I'm within .125.
I can still live with just trimming that for a good fit.
But, I will definitely keep trying your method.
I believe if u angle ur tape measure across 10 inches and put a mark at the 2 4 6 8 inch marks you will end up with 5 even spaces . If you have wider material that your working with then measure across 20 inches and mark on 4 8 12 16. Just up size like that for even bigger stuff. If I said 10.5 in the video I think that is a mistake
Thanks, I'm not sure you said 10.5, that's what I have to work with. I'm hoping tomorrow I will try again using your method. Have a great night.
What about saw blade compensation?
Depending on your project you may have to account for that.
Now, how do you measure if you want to crosscut it?
It would Bev the same method
Can you do a video on how to build a bird house please
