I play this last video all the time. I absolutely love the little ABBAs and wish that they had done more videos with them. Jim Henson was a great puppet maker and these prove it.

I have the making of ABBA's Last video on DVD, I like the end bit were Benny explain his idea for a musical to Bjorn and Benny fall over laughing and tell Bjorn that he think he has hurt himself, while Bjorn thinking of growing a beard as he likes Benny beard. lol
So on point! Suggestions for the new (back then) musical, Board game, Monopoly! Then Chess! Hahaha! And notice the remarks about working together? "I work with you SO WELL? That's a hint at one of the main tracks of Chess, I Know Him So Well, original duet was sung between Barbara Dickinson and Ellen Page. What a lovely insight into what went on during the filming of this piece! Sooooo cute when they wish their "human counterparts" good luck when they coincide with them in the elevator!

As a pro musician I loved the bit at the end re Monopoly and Chess, great gag. Actually, I was misinformed!! Bjorn was filmed on day 2, Agentha did indeed travel to the studio on day 3 of the shoot, and Benny completed his filming on day 4. Frida was unable to travel to Sweden at the time, andso she was filmed two weeks later in London. These facts are confirmed by the official ABBA website, so apologies for my earlier incorrect post.
What a waste.. it shouls be abba and cher and other UK celebrities.. ironically, abba is set to release two new songs.. and should they release videos for those singles, it would be titled, ABBA last last last video. Hahahaha

Last week I saw a new 3D printer for sale for about $250. If someone could figure out how to create a 3D plan for these heads we could print our own. I guess they would be static models with no moving parts. And either the hair would be printed in plastic or we'd have to figure out how to get our own hair. There's probably an online store where you can buy fake hair.
i agree with you, the video was funny, but think of the sad part: it's named "OUR LAST VIDEO EVER". they have no intention of getting back together. and horrible pity.
This whole project was an act of pure genius. For a few minutes, we had ABBA back together.
I'm sure Glad they went thru all that trouble, the video is Absolutely Fantastic....I love ABBA....!
And, the Muppets were finally able to get ABBA in one of their productions.
