I just want to say that you explain things so very well. I mean you can TEACH. There are so many TH-camrs and other online tutorials that really don't teach just show what they are doing. There is a difference. Seriously excited I found you.
Great tutorial! only thing is the Ai standard shader doesn't have 'strength' in the emission, only colour and scale. What would i plug the ramp in to then? Would it be the scale?
Hi. I imagine you could attach the ramp to emission scale. However, I've upgraded to Arnold 5, and the aiStandardSurface now has emission weight, and emission colour. In that case I would connect the outAlpha of the ramp to emission weight. Hope this helps!
