Les oiseaux dans la charmille
Dans les cieux l'astre du jour,
Tout parle à la jeune fille d'amour!
Ah! Voilà la chanson gentille
La chanson d'Olympia! Ah!
Tout ce qui chante et résonne
Et soupire, tour à tour,
Emeut son coeur qui frissonne d'amour!
Ah! Voilà la chanson mignonne
La chanson d'Olympia! Ah!
This is my favorite rendition. Every note is hit perfectly and there is not so much vibrato that it distorts the note. I love her
This is the most beautiful video I've ever witnessed in my life. This is quite the masterpeace.
Most clear sounding performance of this song I've ever heard, and even on a recording. Must have been even better in person.
for those who are wondering, 3:56 is an Ab6. repeatedly throughout she hits G6.
i for one had no idea about rachele until happening on this recording, researching since i'm considering working on this piece, and i was so pleasantly surprised that i had to say something. this was done marvelously, and especially for a MET debut, on hours notice. regardless, this is a fabulous performance, and i someday wish to perform so wonderfully and through my nerves. what an achievement. she is a force.
oh my god this song is so beautiful, when the sing high note, this is amazing
She sings like a dream!!
Feel like a soprano immortally from the 18,19 century :)
I love Patricia Jackanova's rendition of the Doll song but l have never heard such high notes without 'screeming'. Well done!
I love hearing the high Abs in this performance. I never get tired of it and gives me life every time i hear it
so perfect....!!! really at some points i cant believe that, what im hearing is actually human voice!!
Best soprano who sang this so far. I keep coming back to her version.! It's epic
I must have watched this 100 times and doesn’t get old. Just fabulous
Awesome!! Awesome!! Awesome!! Been watching this video every day for the last week. Just so impressive.
